Thats a great conversation. Its very sad that tigress was hit by some vehicale at night. we must respect and conserve tiger and other animals territories. That is why Karnataka govt had infact banned movements of vehicles at night in Bandipura national park. Since then night accidents involving wild animals came down drastically.

This is an excellent video . Hearing first person from the eye witness to that attack in 2003 makes us even more aware of the high risk factor in open gypsy safaris. As another vlogger said, the jungle is a theatre where a drama is constantly unfolding - and we cannot be aware of each and every development - so we are taken by surprise 😮

उस दिन tigress घघायल होने के कारण गुस्से मे थी और ज़ब वो jipsy के बगल से जा रही थी तभी उन पर्यटक ने photo क्लिक की, क्लिक की आवाज़ से वो और नाराज हो गयी थी इसलिए उसने अटैक किया, जैसा की मैंने सुना था 🙏🏻

Wow what a valuable information! I heard about this incident in a TV news clip but that hadn't disclosed the tigress name; that news gone into limelight because it's a horrifying incident involving foreign tourists but no news channel turned on the aspect of Tigress injury due to road accident.

This reminds me one safari in Tadoba, where a tour operator(probably) was accompanying some tourists in safari vehicle, and we were waiting for Maya's sub-adult cubs to come towards water-body. All of a sudden that operator out of restlessness or sheer over excitement or to showoff he has total control on the forest yelled as if he is roar of Tarzon at that moment as if cubs will respond to his yelling. We were shocked to see that person's act in the wild where almost 10-15 other vehicles including tourists patiently waiting. . So sometimes even people engaged in wildlife tourism also not properly educated who are into this business. But that is how the reality is. All kind of characters available in business, be it in wildlife tourism or elsewhere. Thanks

Very informative and wonderful session Sir🙏✌. This has happen to me when I was doing safari in Gir Gujrat. Some of the tourists got panicked after seeing a full grown Male Lion. One middle age Man shut his eyes due to fear.

नमस्ते विवक सर, कुछ महीनो पहले ही एक वीडीओ देखी , इसी तरह से jim कॉर्बेट में टुरिस्ट जिपसी में बैठे हुए है और एक टाइगर दिखता हे, और आराम से ही देख रहे थे वे टाइगर को , लेकिन उन में से किसे के फोन की रिंगटोन इतनी जोर से बाजी और यही आवाज सुन के टाइगर एकदम जीपसी को देखा, और धीरे धीरे फिर उसने गाड़ी को चेस किया बाद में ड्राइवर को जिप्सी बहोत तेज डोडानी पड़ी, इस लिए आप जंगल में जाओ तो किसी भी तरह का कोई भी शोर नहीं होना चाहिए, चाहे टाईगर दिखे या ना दिखे
