Please don’t be racist, the “white churches” you stated, are often the churches that are just more peaceful in the presence of God. The “black churches” you stated, are the ones that are more filled with the fire of the lord, but we should not judge churches due to their race. If what you meant with “white churches” was the missing of the fire that the Holy Spirit gives,than those are church’s that are ethier corrupt or asleep. However, race is not the issue.
I've been a spectator to this in the Black church. A family member shouted so much that she shouted the lifts off her shoes and tore the leather halfway up the heels.
We as Christian know the reason we are praising the Lord some of have been through hell and high water i use to go to clubs and dance and drinking afterwards had a hangover when Jesus Christ came into my life i have a new dance partner no more hangover and you think i will sat in church being a spectacular let every thing that has breath praise you the Lord sign Cynthia Smith i have preach my self happy

Is it bad if id only go to church for the good songs? Im black and i ain't gone to church in like 12 years but even I've been wondering why the high energy is missing from white churchs. I distinctly remember one day when the these high energy songs started Playing,the people on the instruments going 110% and the singers are hitting every note,and every person was dancing in the aisles.
I remember it too! In the UPC, they changed their gospel to 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and brought in lots of lukewarm believers. They are teaching pastors to quench the Spirit so as not to upset the new crowd. They don’t emphasize the teaching about the Holy Ghost. Least that is how it is in NH.

It is typical of lapdicean churches. Im sure there are many great balck churches and ive been to many in the south - they dont read the bible or take study or the actual lifestyle seriosuly though. its just a club to have fun.

She's spot on. She forgot the "huck-a-buck/spiritual shivers" one. I was raised in church, and I've been almost all of these except a couple. I walked away from the title of Christianity, but I can still go. My tambourine pass will let you know quickly, this Sistahs knows what she's doing.
Half of my family are Pentecostals. The dancing and fainting are a charismatic tradition that started in the late 1800s but is passed off today as if it always happened throughout church history. Is it a bad thing? No, but I know a lot of church members that dance, shake, and faint because they want to fit in their church culture.
I’m from a white Pentecostal church and we did all that, plus bouncing off the walls, kicking over chairs, rolling under the pews, laughing in the Spirit, screaming and shouting! One guy always fell backwards to the floor like a tree. One lady danced like a ballerina, one lady did something like sign language while running around. We sounded like a bunch of fire truck sirens screaming. Stamping our feet. It was great.

Every night before bed I would try to kill myself, I was so depressed, my dog died, my wife left me, I got fired from my own business. But then JESUS! Dancing proceeds. *oh I can feel the holy spirit coming out* OHHH
No….Pentecostal churches vs all others….I’m White, was raised in a Pentecostal church and I know what I’m talking about. It was a God fearing, Bible believing, Amen, Hallelujah, Praise God, Lift your hands in prayer, Holy Ghost filled, and call to the Altar church.
