Today I reacted to the funniest and best tik tok videos from tiktok Subscribe to my main channel!: @memeulous Merch: www.memeulous.s... Twitter: / memeulous Instagram: / memeulous Business/media enquiries: george@memeulous.com
i really like that the acknowledgement of the frozen chicken was only added in post theres something about george just holding a frozen poultry to his neck periodically and not saying a thing about it
At Cambridge, my cousin was forced to live there for at least one year so they could graduate but they lived in Cambridge so it was a complete waste of 7 grand
As someone who did a Maths degree starting around the 2008 recession: if a guy getting a first in Maths can't get a job, they either went to a rubbish uni or there is something wrong with them. Other than the vocational Doctor/Lawyer stuff, it's literally one of the best degree subjects you can do. Such a wide variety of jobs love "numerate" degrees and it can get you into loads of different fields.
I showed my mum shutter island for her first time the other day and she said I'm not allowed to pick the movie ever again and texted my dad to come home and scold me for putting something on I "knew she would despise"
As a German (casual Döner enjoyer) I find it very amusing hearing George say "Donner" (which actually means thunder lol). "Ö" is pronounced as the o in word.
Yeah, uni is such a scam if it isn’t required. The uni accommodation at the uni I attend is shit. the uni don’t repair anything unless absolutely necessary and I paid nearly 6k for it. But at least I’m getting a law degree so at least I can use my degree
sweet memories of me having to pay a fucking cleaning fee bc i spilt shower gel on the gross carpet tile floor of my first year dorm room, which was arguably the cleanest that floor has ever been
There’s a dorm at the university of Texas at Austin that was literally designed by the same architect that designed prisons and it shows 💀 everyone hates that dorm lol
This is a very weirdly relatable set of tiktoks for me it's bringing up so many random memories lmao. I had a friend in college who only ever brought in an ipad, he didn't have a phone for a long ass time. I don't think I found out why, might have forgotten. But yknow. Slay Kings, do what you wanna do 😌
I agree about university, loads of my mates went to University, and during that period, whilst they were all living in squalor, eating pot noodles, and racking up debts, I was driving cars, travelling the world, and getting paid holidays. By the time my best friend left uni, I'd done most of Europe, and owned a large selection of hot hatches. He's now a fireman, so the degree was a waste of time 😂
Just wanna give my counterargument to George's rant on Star Wars, George Lucas decided to put the CGI in long before Disney even owned Star Wars, so the versions we see today are what George Lucas wants us to see.
i've had the poundland kebab, it doesn't come with chees, i like the addition, i might try putting some chicken and mushroom pot noodles in it next time i get one
Bare in mind, if someone's willing to sneeze in their hand and not wash before preparing someone's meal, you've got to wonder of she bothers after doing other things too... like taking a shit
I’m at uni for theoretical physics and my accommodation is 4x the price of the actual course. £2000 for the course and £8000 for the accommodation for ONE YEAR
So what you said about showing people films, my bf has a spreadsheet of every film he’s ever seen. He has now colour coded it to say ‘what films I need to show Eleanor’ and he gets SO EXCITED to show me them
There’s a direct correlation between that laugh and having personality. When George does it it’s funny. When James corden does it I want to out a fucking power drill to my temple.
Honestly George I get it re social media, I used it a lot when I was younger and Bebo, MySpace, Facebook and Twitter came out, and through the years I’d post insane amounts to Facebook almost like it was a journal of sorts, get into arguments all the time on Twitter, and honestly when I hit my late 20’s I just got so, so fed up of it. I’m 31 now and I visit Twitter and Facebook once every 2 weeks, maybe? I just use Discord and Telegram for small private chats with some close friends, it’s a lot less hassle and during lockdown we’d have regular discord calls so we could keep in touch. I’m a LOT happier not using social media all the time, some friends have found it strange but I always recommend cutting back on social media as it’s just not healthy being on it all the time, especially when it’s very argumentative and gets to you.
I can relate to the movie bit, but in a different sense... I lived in Hong Kong for 11 years growing up and moved back to Scotland when I was 13, but I go back to Hong Kong every year to see my dad, well one year one of my friends from Scotland decided to go to Hong Kong and showing someone around and seeing their reaction for the first time to things that you thought normal brings back a bit of magic like you're seeing it for the first time again
Bruh so the other week I was in a shopping centre (metrocentre if anyone knows) and me and me mates were walking through this pretty wide hallway to get the bus and these 2 girls were filming a tik tok dance video, we didn’t realise and walked right in through and they shouted at us one of the funniest situations I’ve ever been in😂
The Star Wars cgi issue is super interesting. If you want another rabbit hole to go down look up the CGI in the original Evil Dead (the best video on this is from the channel YMS) but the TLDR is the film was a labour of love from a bunch of under paid highly passionate people and they now have cgi’d all the little bits of jank out. But the jank was a product of how low the budget was and getting rid of it actually detracts from the films charm
The worth of a Uni course is mainly decided by your passion for the subject and which Uni you go to. If you like learning about a certain thing and are good at it, it's 100% worth it. Plus debt is forgotten after 30yrs.
I used to be in construction and we built a few student accomodations. They are all scams! The bathroom tiles were second hand, the sink was discarded stock and the toilet bowls had a freakin' pedigree list of previous owners. Each room cost about £1500 to build, then they charged £1200 per month for it.
About uni houses my sister got her first uni house and she found human feces under one of the beds, one room full of garbage and so many flies that they had to get cleaners to come round with hazmat suits
prison is so much better than uni at least in Australia. you get free acomidation, free quality food with desert and you own gaming console somtimes even more morden ones like ps4 but mostly things like ps2's
