After many years Nagaland has recognised Tikhir tribe as one of the Naga tribe. If tikhire is a tribe that is to be recognise , then why previous Nagaland Govt. had not done so. Indigenous tribe from any parts of Nagaland must not be deprived , have every rights to enjoyed what other tribes enjoyed within the boundary wall of the Nagaland state. Though they may be not having enough population, yet it does not matter for big or small a tribe is a tribe , must maintained their originality and that our coming generation be aware and that Tikhire too is one tribe amongst other Naga's tribes of Nagaland state.
