I really like how this fire pit looks and feel like it is a good size for most patios and decks. I also like the design with the easily removable ash pan. Smokeless fire pits are the way to go in my opinion.

This is a really good review. I got one of these for Christmas because I think my wife couldn't think of anything else to get me. We've used it about 5 times and really enjoy it. We've burned the pellets as well as wood. The quality is very good and is really easy to clean. The cover really is water proof. I'd recommend this product for anyone looking for a good patio fire pit.

I can confirm that using the Tiki fire pack and sitting up to 2-5 feet away from this fire pit. My clothes does not smell like smoke and there was no smoke at all throughout the burn. Using the TIKI brand fire pack last 30 minutes. I highly recommend this to anyone. Reason I got this is because of the high reviews it has and also this video. Thank you for doing the review.

Thanks for this extremely straightforward and to on point review! Do you use wood or only the pellets?

Thanks! I use both. The starter packs from tiki work great but you can use whatever brand you want.

I didn’t do anything. It was that way when we purchased the house.

Would it be safe to burn wood on this under a patio?
@jungleriver

Do you mean if it is sitting on a wood patio? It would be ok because the metal legs keep the firepit off the ground.

No. Thank you for your reply, but I have an Alumawood patio and wanted to burn firewood under the patio which is about 10ft high. Was wondering if it would affect my patio roof.

Gotcha, personally I wouldn’t do that but you can always try and measure how hot the deck gets from underneath. The laser thermometers are not expensive if you don’t have one.

So im sitting in front of one right now. No pellets. Just cured pine. Its not 100% smokeless. Its way better than a traditional pan style fire pit for sure but yeah you will smell smoke on your clothes and if you have your windows open 50' away you will smell some smoke. That being said it is way better than a traditional in how it burns wood. Its expensive but it is pretty bad ass. Just my opinion.
