White is a bridal color and the white shirt had a bridal pun. The other shirts were wine colored and had alcohol puns. It kind of makes sense since it's a vineyard party. I wouldn't make that choice, but it works for a "white girl wasted on wine" vibe.
it’s kind of sweet how completely clueless he is about this but yet confident enough to be angry about them being “wrong”. these ladies are cringe but damn 😂
you know what? they seem happy. I personally would rather die before wearing one of these shirts but i appreciate knowing that people like this exist somewhere out there.
Right? I hope they stay friends. They obviously know how to have fun together. Now, would I hate to go over to all of their houses that are undoubtedly plastered in "live laugh, love," signs? Absolutely. Suburbia decor, much like their shirts, are cringe level 1000%, but who am I? They're just having fun, at the end of the day. I hope their kids grow up together and that they all stay in good terms with each other, getting to be old ladies that complain about their husbands at the hotel bar on all of their girls trips.
@@MekarePI have to take breaks from Nick cause he's funny when I agree with his takes but a lot of times it feels like he rags on people for no real reason other than he likes to rag on people. Like I can be very judgemental too but I don't monetize it and put it out for the world to see and it just feels weird to do that for some women who committed the sin of....being a little "Pinterest-y"
Nick…. The THEME of her wedding seems to be wine… therefore all the shirts DO technically match. They match with HER shirt… pour the wine his last name is mine. Then every bridesmaids shirt has to do with wine and pouring it. I don’t drink often or like the idea, but it’s cohesive.. if you really think about it, and like wine.
no literally cause who posts a video where half of it is them just completely misunderstanding. The point of a harmless video of other people having fun.
Yeah I actually appreciate that they are not all exactly wedding themed. While I wouldn't regularly wear a wine themed shirt it seems like some of these women would get regular wear out of this shirt. At least wine nights together.
nick, vino is just another word for wine. and bachelorette stuff doesn't have to have everything relate to the wedding, it's just for fun and drinking usually
nevermind it's apparently coming from the ITALIAN vino and not the SPANISH vino so i guess i should just drown in a lake. is that what you sick freaks want? not even to walk into the ocean. drown in a kiddy pool. friqis...
@user-qv2qf1jk5o if someone loooves wine, they will say vino because it's ~cultured~. Like pronouncing bruschetta correctly or other Italian/Spanish/Portuguese dishes. In Russian and Italian it's vino too, probably the same for most southern European countries.
@@user-qv2qf1jk5obelieve it comes from Latin. There's some Latin saying that essentially means "in wine there is truth" (en vino veritas?) or something. So some nerds might know it from that
i’ve been following u for a while nick and i gotta say i love how invested u are in bringing this chronically online drama to us. it’s clear youve been working really hard to get these out so fast and we all really appreciate it. this all feels so fresh and i’m always so invested to learn and care about something absolutely no one else does LOL
I LOVE absolutely irrelevant drama lmfaooo it's just so whimsical. It's like a break from the real world tbh. And I think it partly feels fresh cause Nick is a Fresh Boi™, and then partly because he doesn't really... Judge? I guess he offers his opinion sure, but he feels very different from other people I've watched who cover obscure tik tok drama I don't have tik tok so it's like hearing about what's going on on the moon. Just interesting lol
Fr. I've been on youtube since 08 and not only nick, but this new generation of content creators are insanely good at what they do. The way that him and Dev juggle this and careers as musicians at the same time, very impressive.
As someone who has been to parties like these, it's all about drinking, and that's it. The theme isn't themed, the bridal shower is. Drinks well with others is like Plays well with others. TBH, it's my fave. The parties aren't though.
I just went to a bachelorette party in wine country a week ago and yeah its basically all about drinking. Obviously you do other activities and games and stuff but they literally all involve drinking. It actually made me ponder "huh, if one of our close friends didn't drink, what would we do for the bachelorette?"
@@SuzER08it is really unfortunate how much socialization revolves around drinking. I like a drink, but I also struggle. But in my city someone opened a 100% sober bar, so people could get the feel of going out to socialize. And I think that's nice for them. This is a beer city though so idk how they're doing. Or ya know, free public spaces that facilitate human connection could help. Baby steps I guess lmaooo.
@@SuzER08 when bridesmaids were drinking wine and champagne when I was last a bridesmaid I just drank water from my glass. Someone was questioning me a bit about it at first, asking why I wasn’t drinking, so I thought I was going to have to justify it to them (some people do expect you to justify to them why you aren’t drinking, and some people even take it like a personal attack on them so you never know how people will react). But the bride stepped in and said something simple and supportive, like “She never drinks, it’s great”, and then the day continued. The others had their drinks and I had mine. This wasn’t in wine country and the events hadn’t all been based on having to drink. That would’ve caused issues, but also would’ve been pretty disrespectful toward me I think since it’s not a secret that I don’t drink. I think if one of your close friends didn’t drink you’d just alter the games a bit or do something else entirely. Plenty of activities don’t require drinking. Also helps that I’m not a recovering alcoholic who can’t be around alcohol or anything like that, so me not drinking doesn’t mean others have to stay sober.
@genericname8727 yeah I was thinking about it and it would definitely depend on the circumstances of why the particular person wasn't drinking. And I know for sure all my friends would be supportive. But I just feel like we would feel bad, like we were inadvertently excluding them or othering them because the rest of us would want to drink
Normally im here for the clowning on cringe, but i cant shake the feeling that if a bunch of dudes did this theyd be widely celebrated on the internet for being excited and wholesome
As someone who just doesn’t enjoy the nonstop, in-your-face format of tiktok’s UI (it’s so… claustrophobic???), I really appreciate these videos because I like to stay on top of current events no matter how stupid and pointless they are. So even though none of us are gonna forget what you did to the women and children of that village in Yugoslavia, I still want to say thank you for making this content as diligently & consistently as you do
saaame here, can’t stand going on the app because of the way it feels. one video at a time in your face is too much, I want to choose the content I see. Wish there was an option to scroll on the home page the same way you can on the search page.
Agreed! I hate tik tok and lately youtube shorts has been hurting my head so I am returning to just longer youtube video content. My ADD brain is already chaotic enough as it is.
But not holding back on his judgement anyway.... This one just feels like criticizing people for no reason. They're not hurting anyone, it's not even really particularly cringey. It just seems like a wine themed vineyard event
Vino is Spanish for wine. I also think it's all puns or stupid things to do with drinking. 'Drinks well with others' is most likely 'Plays well with others' you see people say for their little kids and pets.
Nick: “It’s not about weddings” he says with so much passion about the wine themed bachelorette. But also as someone who deleted TikTok for their mental health, I enjoy the updates ❤
I don't see a problem with any of these. If you make the t shirt all about the wedding it makes it much less wearable after the wedding is over. They are clearly having fun and enjoying their time and the puns are just puns. Why would anyone be upset about this..? Just let them celebrate however they want
It's just the younger generations being all cRiNgY MILliENiALs OMG. They'll be doing their own cringy shit when they're in their forties. And then the younger generations will be making fun of them. A cycle that will continue until the cyborgs take over.
I don't understand this need for generarional gudgement... Cringy people exist at all ages. There are terrible people from every generation. Using generations is THE BEST way to instantly be wrong about anything.
@@ashkebora7262 people want to connect over content they see and their initial response - at least, those which the most people will relate to - are culture-specific cringe. i wish people just joined fandoms or something bc there you get to be as judgy as you want ("gartholomew III would TOTALLY put MCR on a heavy metal playlist lmao" or whatever) bc they're FAKE the people are FAKE like
@@user-qv2qf1jk5o I agree there is an over-focus on negative content, though it's pretty easy to avoid... Yes, it reduces the content available, which sucks, but... like ... that's like complaining that there's too much midget p*rn... Don't like it? Don't watch it!!! Sucks the algos push it. Sucks people _tend_ to react easier with anger ... but let it be a tool for you. Let it be an easy way to filter out reactionary morons who can never think past what they just read/watched. People NEED to be held accountable for their poor decisions. People NEED to hold themselves accountable for their poor decisions, too. Constantly watching bad content is a poor decision just like someone constantly watching p*rn is making a bad decision.
usually even when something isn't like morally wrong, it'll seem cringe to me but this one feels completely fine?? like i guess the whole wine thing has come and gone but some of those were pretty good puns i really don't see the issue at all
The white shirt is the bride, so hers was the only one about being married. The others aren’t getting married, so they’re just going with the wine theme.
Nick repeatedly calling the bride the bridesmaid lmao... who is everyone else then? also yes I would love to see a black mirror video i bingewatched the whole season and for the past two weeks I haven't had anyone else to talk about it with.
It's a play on that song that's like "I put my hand on your hip/when I dip, you dip, we dip" but it just doesn't work in text alone, as demonstrated here.
I thought you were going to say "Ring around the Rosé" and then i remembered the rest of that rhyme and thought it maybe wouldn't be super wedding appropriate.
It’s not a wedding lol it’s just a bachelorette party. I think they probably all got wine pun shirts instead of wedding specific ones because they can actually wear them more than this one day. Also “vino” is just Italian for wine, it’s not a specific winery.
as someone whos worked at a winery as a pourer this is usual bridal party stuff. The punny shirts are about how much theyre gonna drink while partying. Theres buses that will just drive bridal parties from winery to winery. Usually only the bride wears something to signify shes a bride somehow. Also vino is italian for wine and thats why you see it a lot in winery names.
If this wasn't satire Nick, I think you need to calm down a little bit. The shirts weren't about weddings it just happened to be a bridal party in wine country.😂
The inconsistency in the fonts is driving me insane. The first ones have the wine pun in cursive but the latter ones have the wine puns (or the attempts? idk) in print. WHY
I'm actually betting they each designed them in a way where they'd want to actually rewear them, which is smart. A lot of people don't require matching bridesmaid dresses anymore for the same reason. It's better to not make people waste money on something they don't actually want than be SUPER matchy-matchy for a couple of photos
I don’t think stag/hen-night novelty t-shirts need to be wedding related 👀 They’re just silly puns that hopefully aren’t too toxic (like stag ones can be pretty gross/sexist sometimes). Edit: They did get sadly less punny and ran out of ideas as it went on though
i work at a vineyard and there are SO MANY bridal showers. the wine pun shirts can be fun, but a lot of them are annoying. BUT we do a cat shower(adoptable cats are brought there so then people can donate to the place and foster parents and then after the cats are spade/neutered, they can be adopted), and there was a litter of kittens with different wine names. now THAT was cute
Dude, the theme of the weekend was wine country. It's cringe but they nailed it. I just planned a bachelorette that was "Zoo Lights in June" themed -- I'd pay to hear your reaction to that 🤣
The I sip, you sip, we sip. Is in reference to that 90's southern hip hop BANGER 'Dip' I dip, you dip, we dip ......I put my hands up on your hips. 😂😂😂
It's a bachelorette at a vineyard so it doesn't even need criticism but you're literally watching a video criticising them so your point makes no sense
This one just kinda feels mean tbh. A lot of people have said this already but they’re all just having fun and not taking themselves seriously, and it’s clearly a bachelorette party or something.
i wish so bad i could go to your guys’ show!! It’s literally the day after my birthday but i can’t make it to LA 😭😭 i hope you guys have a good show, I love you and Devs music 🫶🫶
Your comments on that "Wine Down" one not making sense because she just did a dance move just gave me some 'nam flashbacks to the early 2010s watching fan animations for Merry Happy by Kate Nash. There's a lyric in there that said "I guess you didn't want to stick around, so I learned from you" and every animation was finding some way to make a stick move in a circle for the "stick around" part and it's like DUDE, JUST DRAW A GUY LEAVING WITH A SUITCASE! Why are you trying to make a stick dance in a circle?!
it's cute that you covered this. also that on the spot church wedding story was so wild! also, how many damn bridesmaids does this bride have?! and I'd pay $40.00
Nick you're awesome for uploading so much on all your channels! I love getting so many nickisnotgreen videos. Don't burn yourself out but we all appreciate how much effort you've been putting in🐼
I had to wear a drinking themed shirt for my friends bachelorette party to a winery/bars. The bride’s said “I’m getting married” and ours said “so we’re getting drunk” I hated having to wear it! My other friend made shirts with her face on them using pictures from when she was a child and the groomsmen wore ones with the grooms face which I loved a lot more since it was more personal and less cringe but matching shirts are always a little cringe ahahaah
My friends and I have been really enjoying the internet drama/TikTok videos, Nick. Every time you upload a new one we will text each other and try to watch them together and they always spark really interesting conversations. I'm glad you've found some topics that are really engaging for you to make videos on too! Can't wait for the next one
when i saw "i make pour decisions", at first i thought "damn that one girl was done so dirty, that's the only shirt that's a wine pun but also talks about her personal character". but then i thought about it for another second and i realised that one is by far my favourite. like if someone else in the bridal party got that shirt, and i had to wear a normal wine pun, i would be mad. that's so me
