To anyone wanting to get frogs: DO YOUR RESEARCH. and no, that doesn’t mean watch TikTok a and RU-vid videos about frogs, read articles about care, etc. and if you can’t afford the things for a frog, or the frog itself, don’t even think about getting one. You will not be giving it a good healthy life if you try to do it cheaply. (Also don’t forget to handle most frogs with gloves)
I have 2 leopard geckos in desert themed tanks. I learned they need more humid tanks by watching these vids. I am going to use my money for new tank items. It helped me.
@@bribri4335 there are many care guides and info articles online! I like to also learn about their natural habitats and behavior so I can understand even more about them. (Because even if they are bred in captivity, they still are very much wild animals)

Some frogs require drier surroundings. My green and golden bell frog has two thirds dry land and one pool big enough for her to submerge. I think the only thing in here that really bothers me is the constant touching/handling and poking at the frogs.
A good way to tell is by the texture of their skin! If it's flat and smooth, it's most likely a frog, and if it's bumpy and dry than it's more than likely it's a toad!

A lot of this was just poor husbandry like obesity isn’t good it’s bad. And you can’t just pick up your frog that can harm them. At the very least wet your hands and rinse but hardly any of these had proper handling. However some vids are cute tho
Guys if you want a frog make sure you can afford it because sure like the frog itself maybe is somewhat cheap but the enclosure, fogger/mister, etc is very expensive
I understand y people are saying to do your research on frogs, but I've noticed that the frog community is extremely anal about it. If you're going to act that way towards frogs act like that towards every pet.
