Hey guys! We promise not to inundate you with updates on our TikTok battle, but we needed to update you. As soon as we posted our video telling you about our TikTok impersonators, those accounts changed their names to avoid being reported. I will post their new names below. We’d love it if those of you that are on TikTok could report those accounts. We need to get them taken down, not just because they’re stealing our videos which is wrong, but because they could use our name to scam people. We know there are a lot of impersonators, but these are the big ones. We’re trying to get verified on TikTok so this doesn’t keep happening. And for those that have asked, we never intended to be on TikTok, but we had to join to be able to report these accounts and try to get them taken down. I think they can only change their names every 30 days, so if you report them now, hopefully we can get them shut down. Thanks so much for your help guys!

Hello everyone! We're the Clark family. Colt (the dad) is a professional musician and Aubree (me, the mom behind the camera) is a photographer. Together we home school our three children. To keep busy during the shutdown we started learning and recording a new song every other day to share with our friends and family. We love playing music and spending time together as a family. Hopefully these songs brighten your day!

Whenever someone tries to follow me I am also following. I always check to see if I am following them first then report them to the original creators. Sorry to hear that your hard work is being ripped off.

I'm sorry your family is going through this and very saddened that your children are forced to learn about bad actors at their ages. I’ve reported the account specially the one in the UK keep up the work and the phone your kids are absolutely lovely great musicians. I’ll be great to see some more videos about your life in general and your youngest must be a real handful. Gaaa I hate tik tok. I can't think of anything good about it. Colt the only thing I can think of (which won't help any videos you've already done) is to put a watermark on all your future videos. Will it deter from viewers enjoyment? Possibly. But this is ridiculous

This has been an ongoing problem on TikTok Colt. I think everyone who knows you knows that you are an upright guy. I didn't know anything about any of these platforms until I uploaded my first video on TikTok. It's only been 6 months but it feels like a lifetime ❤. I ended up turning off my repost so nobody could use it.

Welcome to the Internet, TikTok is despicable. But like I mentioned before, it’s very difficult to stop these people from what they’re doing. There are several other channels I watch, which were immediately copied. “Primitive technologies”, posted by John Plant, an Australian, was copied very soon after he hit 600,000 subscribers. His videos have been watched over 7, 8 and 12 million times. So a lot of Asian groups copied exactly what he did and changed the name just slightly, but there was nothing anybody can do about it. So he made sure that he branded his videos extremely clearly, and continue to march on.

Although these impersonators have changed their Tiktok addresses, Tiktok should have record of those past addresses, should still be able to identify them and delete them. If Tiktok continues to fail to do anything about it, get a lawyer and sue Tiktok and the impersonators, if at all possible. It's horrible and demented that anyone would do this. Keep up the amazing work! You all rock!

It is soo sad that anyone with a wonderful channel can be taken advantage of behind your backs. I pray those who can make programs to make it harder for people to steal identys and make money are stopped and make laws to seriously procescute them. I think that part of the punishement should be they have to pay you every penny they made off of your backs. I think they should be jailed and anything else that can be done to slow the theives down.

I'm having trouble reporting. It says I have to say who they're impersonating, but when I put in your real account as the account being impersonated, I get a message saying it couldn't find you. Hopefully I'm an outlier?

It's so bad that other nutters are trying to financially bennifit from your beautiful families hard work, Living near London, UK, I have followed your family from nearly the start and look forward to your video's. These people don't care if they hurt anybody, and normally you have no protection from TicToc,RU-vid, Instagram etc.... Is there any way that you can put a moving banner along the bottom of the video's stating that this is the only official chanbel/ video's from your family, Also, Set Up some sort of Copyright on your videos/ materials, similar to people protecting their pictures etc... All the very best to you and your family, hopefully the kids are not too stressed over this.

Yes , I was following a fake account 😮 . I'm back on track now. The problem with these platforms is that the more popular you become, the more scammers are likely to steal your content. I Left a few comments over there on that fake account and I really don't understand why these platforms are calling these reposts because when a comment is made, who is receiving them. On my sons account on TikTok, he has reposted videos to his account. I have completed those videos several times and liked them . But it shows he has no likes at all.

We weren't on TikTok. We only joined to be able to report these accounts. We never intended on being on TikTok, but the impersonators forced our hand because we had to be able to protect our videos, family and audience.

I sometimes wonder if TikTok permits this sort of flagrant impersonation just to "encourage" more people to join the platform as part of their attempt to take down the impersonators. I so often hear that someone had no intention of joining TikTok, but had to in order to fight off all the scam artists using their name...which of course helps TikTok immensely.

Often you report them for eg someone pretending to be a Friend or family member and sites like Facebook often seem to take little action. I guess Mark Zuckerberg isn't too bothered because he's already got his billions. And we could leave these platforms in protest but they know we won't because we have too much invested in them all the friends we've made the photos we've uploaded etc. So it's like they have us over a barrel.
