When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace.
GREAT video and explanation of materials. I am so glad you introduced me to Thermaflex and Specialty Materials, they are all I use. To me they are one with the material. Loved the way you show how to use the white material on the dark shirts for sublimation designs. Thanks a bunch.
I have a 7710 Epson printer that I converted and have had for 4 years and never had a bad experience. And my colors come out beautiful don't have any ink problem. Just every other week I run a print cleaner and my printer has not only paid for itself but has made my company money. But I do thank you for the tips.
I’m a silent viewer lol but I wanted to add I have a 7720 and have had mine for three and a half years with no issues. I have no regrets with it. I actually love it so much I purchased another one to use as is just for printing directions, waterslides, etc. I did switch the inks to cosmos ink in both of them, one sublimation ink and then the other regular printer ink. I think if you rly do your homework, purchase new, and convert it brand new it makes a diff. But I agree with what LaRuth is saying…I appreciate all that you do to help everyone and prevent a lot of ppl from making mistakes, wasting money, etc. i rly enjoy your channel and appreciate all the information I’ve been able to gain from it. I also started an Etsy shop where I mainly put up png designs and wonder if you’ve dabbled in designing at all? Its something I rly enjoy doing and I was surprised that it took off so well. But just curious if you’ve got any tips, tricks, helpful information in that area? Wishing everyone much happiness and success throughout the year in whatever you do or try! 💖
Oh my goodness I just came across your channel. I wish I found this 2 years ago! Awesome instructions and just what I need for this order I have. You are so right! I havevwent thru 3 ink jet epsons converted to sublimation. I'm finally going to order a actual sublimation printer. Love the channel. You have a new follower! 😊
Great images!!! They all turned out so great! I’m new to sublimation. I’m so glad o came across your video. I do have one question. The clear htv, is it actually clear? It looks white.
Thanks for taking the time to try all of these, I’ve saved this video to my ‘sublimation’ folder so I can keep referring back to it. I’m keen to start with the glitter HTV work my way through the list 😂
@@CuttinCornersVinyl honestly I’m very confused by this sublimation. I need to figure out the benefit of learning these techniques to see if it’s really something I want to try. 🤷🏼♀️
Todos ellos son muy útiles, especialmente cuando tratamos de hacer las cosas sin problemas y rápido. Realmente ahorra mucho tiempo y esfuerzo. Este truco es mucho mejor que otros y se divierte mucho.
Betsy, great video. Is there information on the specialty materials site that tells you if you can use which vinyl (glitter, decofilm, etc) as a base for sublimation? I loved what you did on the shirts.
Specialty has in the book which ones are already approved . Some they are still testing. All of the ones on here are the HTVs so Far that work. I’m going to do one on adhesives as well.
Hi, Thanks a trillion for sharing your knowledge and the time you took to research. 😇This video has dispel some of the things I have seen. Thanks, again.I really would LOVE to have More of this type content from you.💗 ? Is there something about heat tape I should know?
you can infact use a printer that has been used for regular and eco tank. i often used use reugluar ink for deep heep head cleanings when the heads are glogged then run deep with sub ink.
So are swapping it back and forth a one time back to clean it ? Is it your printer or are you maintaining other printers or refurbishing other’s? I would love more info
Hey Betsy! Thanks for an awesome video. Very much appreciated. I can't believe I am not subscribed already because I have watched you before. Do you have more than one channel or did I just forget to subscribe earlier? Thanks for the awesome content and sharing your wisdom with us!
The point wasn’t about sawgrass or not it it was about time and temperature. Once you have your printer settings correct ( because everyone depending on brand and ink will be different) .
I love your video; how you explain it; I would like to ask you, I’m trying to get another printer Bcs the one I have already is just for sublimation and I heard I need special ink for htv sublimation and in that case what type of ink I need to buy; thank you in advance
With regards to converting a printer for sublimation, you really have to do thorough research first. It may be tempting to get cheap ink, but the bottom line is you get what you pay for and sublimation ink that works IS expensive, it is just the way the cookie crumbles i'm afraid. I watched videos on converting Epson ET to sublimation before I went and got my ET-2810. Sure I have some settings I have to play with but it works, but DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
It’s all from specialty materials www.specialtymaterials.com they can get you in touch with local retailers. Also heat press nation carries a lot of their vinyl as well shareasale.com/r.cfm? b=1137072&u=3106400&m=77504&urllink=&afftrack=
Enjoyed the video. I tried to sub on white htv that was made from PU just like the glitter said but it didn’t work. I guess there is no regular white htv usable 🙁. I did sub on flocked htv it was bright but also a little blurry.
I was wondering if someone can help me. I wanna do some glow n dark ink joy pens with an image under the glow. But only printable glow n dark I found was htv and for pens I need Adhesive to wrap around the pen. Any help or how I can do this. Thanks.
@@CuttinCornersVinyl thank you so so much that might work. Only if I had heat press to do that. You are wonderful thanks so much for still making ideas even with your medical condition ❤
Any advice on why my clear vinyl has bubbles underneath it when I press it onto the white? Then once the sub image is put on it cracks. I used 390 like recommended and tutorial worked perfect with clam shell press. I am using a cricut easy press. I’ve also seen people say to only use 305. I’m at a loss! I love the look of this vs the expensive siser easysubli. Just wish I could figure it out! Lol
@@anthonymax63 I did not. I have not tried this method again and reverted back to the easysubli. I did get a new heat press so I need to try again really. Maybe it was from the uneven pressure from my easy press. Skeptical of trying it again after ruining a few shirts from the bubbles.
