To be fair to McGonagall, I viewed "Cupboard under the stairs" on the envelope as an attempt to shame the Dursley's, and it works. Because they soon move him into Dudley's spare room, and McGonagall sends ANOTHER letter addressed to the smallest bedroom, as if to still shame them for doing the bare minimum. McGonagall knew where he had to sleep, and she wanted them to know that they knew. It's something that stood out to me from the first time reading it (granted I was already an adult when I read it for the first time)

For all that their characters were terrible I LOVE how Uncle Vernon and Dursley are played. I like Petunia's actress but she doesn't get to shine much in the role, but I always have a blast with Vernon each movie he's in.

I would just like to point out that staff members can specifically requested students to help them out with things for detention, we see this with Lockhart requesting Harry in chamber. I would also like to point out that hagrid really likes Ron and Harry and often ask them to help him out with things anyway. Just a couple of random fact that definitely have nothing to do with the detention in the forest with hagrid at all. Unrelated to those definitely already definitely unrelated facts about of I'd love to watch every other member of the series react to this little indie film

Years ago, there was an era of fanfiction where authors would write the characters reading the Harry Potter series. From my memory, usually Umbridge forced them all to read it under the assumption it would prove HP was lying about Voldy being back. Also, most fics claimed JK was a muggle seer who didn't know she was basically writing Harry biography. It was very cringe but I loved it.

These make me so happy. I still frequently watch the tik tok comp, but it's always nice to get new videos. and this is a great format. thanks for all the laughs. :)

I was not aware McGonagall made the giant chessboard i just assumed it was there the whole time I have this head canon that when hogwarts was built only the common rooms were meant to be used as classrooms the rest of the castle was just a giant maze/death trap incase anyone actually made it past the castle's outer defenses I mean for pete sake how are students actually supposed to make it to class on time when the stairs move whenever and however they want you can't tell me multiple students haven't fallen to their deaths because the stairs got bored and decided to wander

Your videos are what got me back into Harry Potter. Your canon is fsr better than the original canon. If you do other franchises for Witch Watches, I'd love to see you do Star Wars. I've always been of thr mindset of if Minerva had been there to train Anikin instead of Obi-Wan, he wouldn't have turned out a Sith. He didn't even want to train him and only did it as a favor for his dying teacher, who DID want to train him.
