@@VivisSymphonythat’s a criminal case not a civil. Civil cases you basically forfeit all of your rights and by default the plaintiff wins whatever they’re asking for. At least I’m pretty sure. What they’re awarded may not be automatically what the plaintiff asks for but either way they win.

Reminds me of that other court case where some lady sued a guy because she had a dream that he assaulted her, and in court she claimed that he astral projected into her mind to assault her. She knows that she can't get away with it in court, so she's getting desperate. People that do that, turn to the Sovereign Citizen movement as a supposed get out of jail free card. Thus her final statement on subject matter jurisdiction and a lack of a claim. Darrell brooks did the same thing to try and escape punishment from the Waukausha massacre

I've never had my mouth agape for so long. I think it was like two minutes in and lasted the ENTIRE VIDEO! I am so confused as to Ashley's entitlement and brazenness as to even start this whole thing, much less keep persistently and insistently accuse a random, innocent woman of conspiring to do this. The problem is that defamation requires that the person spreading the information to not believe what they are saying or have evidence to the contrary. I don't know about this specific case, but if you have to prove malice it can actually be a defence that she absolutely belived she was right and therefore didn't think she was doing anything wrong. It might be the best defence for a person like this that simply won't apologize

Mens rea doesn't apply...That's why they start by sending cease and desist explaining that what she believes is untrue and wrong in fact. After reading it, and ignoring it, she can no longer say she believes it to be true. She has been told by the plaintiff it is not before litigation begins. Otherwise being found guilty would be a rare event, huh?
