You have to give props to Japan for hosting such an amazing Olympic after a rough rough year to all of us. Huge respect to them for all the facilities, food, service and attitude.

コロナがない場合の東京オリンピックを想像しては悲しくなった。 2013年の東京で開催が決定した瞬間を思い出すたび辛くなった。 過去のオリンピックを思い出して、未来のオリンピックを想像して、どうしてこんなことになったのだろうと悔しくてたまらなかった。 だけど、こうして海外の方々が楽しそうにしているのを見ると、日本で開催できてよかったなって思えた。 オリンピック開催に携わった方々、日本に来てくれた方々、本当にありがとう。

地上波テレビの選手村の取材紹介より 各国のアスリートがスマホ片手にいろいろ紹介し感想を述べ東京オリンピックを満喫している姿を目の当たりにすると日本人として”おもてなし”ができているのかと思うととても嬉しいです。 競技もベストな成績を残せるように頑張って欲しいです。

Just so everyone knows. Each team was given an option of renting a washing machine, TV and other appliances so athletes complaining about those should blame their own committee for being poor or stingy and not the host.

as a student athlete, while im watching this im just reminded of the last sports trip our school had, right before COVID, but the Olympic Village seems a lot more fun haha

The main attraction of this besides the competition games is food …. Xo much quality and variety of food from halal to strictly vegetarian of course the japanese cuisine, asian, western you name it all and seafood yes

Even if the Olympics start, there are still pros and cons in Japan, but it makes me happy to see that overseas-type people introduce me to Japan and it seems to be fun. Next time, when I can go to various places, I want you to know more about the good points of Japan! It's not like this! Japan!

感染対策と放映時間の面で、競技以外のこういった部分は選手たち自身の発信からしか知り得ないし、快適に過ごせている環境なことを知れてよかった。また来てね！ We can only learn about the athletes' lives outside of competition from them, and it was good to know that they are comfortable in their environment. Come again!

Nice Olympic Village.

they said the Olympics village is ready for housing once the Olympics is done.. so that mean people gonna living there soon.. also most of the sport facilities is reused from 1964 Olympic.. only several new constructed facilities like Ariake Arene, Ariake Urban Sport Park, Ariake Tennis, Aquatic Center.. but most of the venue is temporary like Ariake Gymnasium.. they got some facilities in Yokohama & Saitama too for this Olympics.. also they have used several sport venue outside Tokyo for example Fukushima, Miyagi, Kanagawa, Ibaraki & Sapporo..

I am happy to see that most athletes really enjoy the food options that they can try here in Japan. It's makes me proud... Even if I have NOTHING to do with it. Lol. I am happy because happy athletes mean good performances. And a good Olympics is what the world needs these days.
