Thanks a million for this brilliant presentation. Great hopes to discover practical clinical interventions to lower the pace of aging, by keeping the epigenome young, further to the known benefits of caloric restriction and keeping a lower BMI (beware of nutrients' deficiencies though). Interesting to highlight the detrimental effect of long term stress, including PTSD or child abuse, on epigenetic age acceleration.

You can reverse epigenetic age with TRIIM, and there is also one other intervention that has showed similar results but I can't remember its name.

wait so chimpanzees epigenetically age more slowly than humans?!? impt quote: "the beneficial effects of OSK-induced reprogramming in axon regeneration require the DNA demethylases TET1 and TET2"
