Hope that's not how you do your roofing . Fixing battens directly on to roofing paper how does any water get away it will be trapped behide the battens. You need a spacer under battens
You might want to breathe and watch the rest of their videos a-hole; maximizing water and airflow by raising the batons is well-discussed in their other training materials - here he's just demonstrating basics. And feel free to walk around some roofing job sites in Arizona and offer YOUR free, kind advice; every tile roof I've EVER seen (from the dredges of Phoenix to the heights of Sedona) were done fast and cheap this way.
