Namaste friend, I want to share something that you probably already know, you have one of the best jobs in the world. I wouldn't get bored if I did any of your tracks a hundred times because I know the captivating power of the Himalayas. God bless 🙏
Namaste, Yes, i think, i am lucky to have this job. I love traveling, specially trekking or climbing, so i enjoy the most when i am on the mountain. Yes, i don't get bored with mountain even if i have done it many times. Thank you so much for your comment. Cheers !!!
Detailed video, must watch for anyone planning for Tilicho lake. Ram all your videos are damn interesting, and will inspire to live a life in mountains.
I trekked to Tilicho lake in October 1988, lovely to see your film, which brought back memories. Back then there were no roads anywhere, and only 4 people had been to Tilicho that year. The landslide area was very mobile then, with no path at all !
always amazing video..this makes me miss Manang. hopefully 2021 will be a good year where we can travel international again. i really love those old houses.makes me feel like being in ancient times. i spent 3days in Manang back in Dec 2018 and it's soo beautiful. was supposed to come again in Jan 2020 but had to change my plans the last minute. and yes, those tibetan bread are soooo delicious..
Glad to hear that you were in Manang for 3 days in 2018. I am sure you liked it. Hope you make it to Nepal this year. Its open for tourists so you can start planning now. Cheers !!!
Simply amazing. Thanks for sharing and also for your enthusiasm and positivity. That’s a gift. I went to Nepal and Tibet in 2019. But no time for long treks like these. Your video inspired me to want to do it. Greetings from Spain. 🙏😊. May you inspire lots of people !! Namaste.

I live in the United States and I just discovered your RU-vid channel today and I’ve been binge watching your videos keep it up you’re fantastic you and bald and bankrupt would make a excellent team. I love everything about climbing mountains I can remember being 5 years old and family took a vacation in the mountains and I can remember begging my mom and dad to pull over because I wanted to climb the mountains 😂
Thank you for sharing the video Ram. Your enthusiasm in all your videos are very infectious and seeing it delivers a much needed positive boost in these challenging times we are finding ourselves in Congratulations for carrying on the trekking spirit in the Himalayas , I for one could do with a visit to the Himalayas , it would be a perfect tonic to the current climate I have been fortunate enough to experience trekking in the Himalayas and I would recommended it to anyone ..but unfortunately it is currently very difficult to trek responsibly due to the pandemic and we know that you are all suffering due to the lack of income , our best wishes goes out to you all.. Happy thoughts to all the amazingly kind , warm and welcoming people of Nepal , we all hope for a healthier and safer world so that we can get trekking back on track and get our lives back to some kind of normality. My memories of the Himalayas can not be put in to words , meanwhile if you want to feel the kind of happiness , joy and enthusiasm that Ram shows us I his videos then a trek in the Himalayas is for you. If you find yourself fortunate enough to go and experience a trip of a lifetime then please remember to show kindness, respect and generosity to the people you meet. The people working in the mountains do so for very little compensation , life working in the mountains is extremely arduous and sometimes very dangerous . We could not trek there without the assistance of these exceptionally kind human beings... they make the dreams come true.. Be safe 🙏
Thank you so much for your amazing words and appreciation. If you ever come to nepal, please don't forget to let me know. I will either orgnize your trek or at least catch up for coffee. Cheers !!!

I've seen your videos before and you usually have guests. I appreciate you, in the times that we're in, documenting another trek yourself. i've done the ABC trek 2 years ago and am looking to do the circuit in october. i have no idea what my father-in-law has planned but i hope to end up with you as my guide.
Thank you so much. Yes, i usually have clients with me but this time it was still lockdwon and corona time so there were no clients. Even if there are no clients, i still like to go on a trek so i went to Tilicho and after that i went to Api himal by myself. See you soon in Nepal. Cheers !!!
"There isnt single people to click my photo" this line😪..since life is all about journey than destination..this is the superp solo vlog..Motivating one.keep it up Daii❤
I just returned from Manang and Ice lake last week, and I just can't get over the beauty of this place. I have been seeing the place in my dreams ever since I have returned and i been watching videos I made and also others like this on youtube. As they rightly say, "heaven is a myth, nepal is real." Great video. Love from India.
I thank to God somehow i found your channel. So far just watched 2 videoes of you.. just want to mention that you are the best youtuber bro and a very good man. All the very best brother...lots of love..thank you again..
OK, it's not even close to the highest lake on Earth, but it is the highest in Nepal and your video was very good. That is an amazing trail and the avalanche sections on the way there made me wonder if I could make it across without freaking out. Thanks for filming this.
Hello Ram! Greetings from India. Great video and very well organised information. Thank you. I am planning a trek to Tilicho lake during last week of December. Can you please tell me if that's possible? I tried to trek to Thorang La pass from Muktinath side on 30th December last yeat. But due to bad weather, it was not possible. I am trying to gather as much information as possible before going this time. If Tilicho is not possible, can you please also suggest some alternatives which can be done from Manang? We are 4-5 people. So, if locals agree, we can hire guide and open up a lodge too if requied.
I have from from Besisahar to Manang with my wife and had no issues. So till Manang I think it's safe. At least for those who has already 3500m altitude trekking experience. My wife had gone twice to Sandakphu which is also 3600 and she used jeep to get there.
Love Nepal and hope to come back soon. Your Videos are sooo great, thank you! On the way to Manang my favorite Village is Bahundanda. Love this place on the hill.
Dai, ,me and my friend we'll be trekking annapurna circuit on the start of April.. is it possible to see Fresh water on Tilicho lake and to trek through thorong pass???
Hi Pukar, Glad to hear that you are planning a trek to Tilicho and to thorang la. You will like this trek for sure. But seeing fresh snow is a luck. if it snows at that time when you are trekking then you will see fresh snow otherwise no fresh snow. But you never know because it sometimes snow fall in April so you may be lucky one !!!
Hundey airport, Manang is open these days? After covid it would be re-open for traveller's accessibility? If commencing again i will travel Manang by air and it's cousin areas and thorong la pass respectively. Previously i have visited Jomsom, Muktinath etc. Please clarify. Thanks much.
Everytime I watch your video, I get more connected with mountains and passion towards them is increasing. By the way How is the internet connectivity on the way and at Manang
Thank you so much for your comment. Glad that you are getting more connected and passionate towards mountain, hope you start going there. Manang has internet. Cheers !!!

I am glad to hear that you did Annapurna circuit in 2019. I did this trek in November/December. Very nice that you are planning this trek, you will like it. Oh yes, i also stayed there. Cheers !!!
Glad to hear that you are planning a trek to Annapurna Base Camp, you will like it. You can plan for March to may or september to december. But other months are ok too. Cheers !!!
Awesome video brother! This is what I actually needed for my Tilicho trek with Thorangla pass. Cheers! Also, could you please provide the itinerary also? That would be really helpful! Also, is PCR required for this trek(including Thorang La)?

Hi Ram, another great an informative video. Loved it! Just a quick question. What is the cost for the return jeep ride from Khangsar to Besi? Thanks so much and keep on trekking!
Thank you so much. The cost of the jeep is something like 5000 rs for joining trip but if you wish to hire it privately then i think its 30k rs. But it changes with time so its a rough idea for you. Cheers !!!
Subscribed. Last year we did ABC via Poonhill . Your vlog helps us a lot . It was costing 15k IC from Kolkata to Kolkata. In comming October we are planing to go APC & Tilicho lake. So again watching your vlog . But in this vdo there is no Thorangla/ Muktinatha . MY be your another vdo is here. But I want to see the trail from Srikharka to Yak Kharka.
Thank you for Subscribing. Glad to hear that my vlog was helpful for your trek to ABC via Poon Hill last year. This video is just upto Tilicho lake and back so i didn't go over the Thorangla pass. But i have done the circuit many times so if you want to get any information, please feel free to contact me on whatsapp or email (you can get my contact details on the description). Cheers !!!
How long does it take from Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp (BC) and Tilicho BC to Lake? If we start the journey from Khangsar up to the lake, can we return back to Khangsar on the same day?
