And people say stupid crap like Optimus is to violent in the Michael bay movies but what do you expect he lost so many friends and family of ducking course he’s going to be violent
@Lil-Garrys_ModRaps I don't think Omega Supreme showed up in game. Did you mean Metroplex? Cause he DID die in game. He gave up his spark to power the Ark enough to escape Cybertron.
@Lil-Garrys_ModRaps Was he in War? I don't remember for sure, but I also liked Fall a lot more, so it stands out more for me. I'll take your word for it though .
The important thing to know here is that Metroplex was given the choice to sacrifice himself, the parallel being Trypticon forcefully becoming the Nemesis against his will because of his failure.
@@stranger5011 this continuity never got continued after this game, rise of the dark spark is after war for cybertron but before fall of cybertron so we dont know what happens
"Use whatever spark remains within me, use it to light your way across the star's" the only time Optimus was the one getting hit with a sick line of dialog.
“Metroplex, my friend. You don’t have to do this. There’s no guarantee you have enough Energon to even to get us to the Space Bridge. -Optimus Prime I have my most respect to one Autobot to help Optimus Prime and his team to leave Cybertron.
He gave up every drop of energon he had left for the chance he had enough to get them to the space bridge. Let this sink in. Metroplex sacrificed himself and extinguished his own spark without having any certainty they’d make it and died without knowing that the autobots made it to earth. He had hope. He bet on a chance. Rest easy big guy. Be at peace in the allspark
He highly likely does remember them and thinks of all those sacrifices often but never talks about it. To me by the time Optimus reached earth followed by the Decepticons and eventually the humans betrayal it’s very understandable that he lost his shit to the extent of killing humans if needed. He may be created and not born but he still has feelings and emotions.
•R E K A T S U• this is more of a joke than a Canon plot hole, I believe in this continuity there's no Earth version of Transformers, there's just cybertron versions, so we don't really know if Optimus did forget about Metroplex or not. Whenever I see a different story and design for Transformers I immediately think _"oh it's another continuity"_ Kinda like Transformers 1 - 5 and _Bumblebee_ and _Rise of the Beasts_
@@ch4rbIt's still aligned continuity, so it never really talks about Metroplex as such, but it does mention the great sacrifices that the war brought.
I still recall every step of every mission and dialogue in this game as if it was yesterday; FOC was far ahead it's time for quality and should go down as one of the greatest games ever
I’m one of them, Optimus literally flew himself into the core of cybertron with the matrix of leadership and some other matrix within him to jump start bringing life back to the planet. Was pretty fucking heavy.
@@psychobillyfrankenstein3117 that series is absoluetely the best ever We get war for cybertron fall of cybertron and prime, and then we get hit in the face with the robots in disguise saga
Indeed. And I hate how there are so many people who love that trash. Every single movie has been one big middle finger to the fans and the general audience. The only reason they even got to make so many was because Micheal Bay was one of the first directors to majorly sellout and got down on his knees and swore his loyalty by sucking off the CCP.
Played this game over and over and over and over again. Everytime I saw this scene I put my hand on my chest and kneeled my head down. They introduced him like a badass, and killed him like one. It was an honor growing up with the Autobot’s.
During the endless sea of garbage films (minus bumblebee) these Cybertron games were everything a Transformers fan wanted, I loved these so much. Everything was executed perfectly, a huge tribute to the series
What is really makes me cry in this scene is when bumblebee looks back and without say anything you can tell that he and metroplex have friends for decades and no matter how much respect he gave for what he is doing would never out way lose he is feeling, #METROPLEXNEVERDIES😭🙏😭😔😢he truly and forever will be the greatest warrior in the history of ever
He is a true warrior because a warrior does not just fight for freedom and peace but also when it comes down to it they will decide without a doubt that they will make the ultimate sacrifice, he sacrificed himself for all his brothers who would have died and now that is true brother that we can all learn, he taught us a very important lesson and that is that family and friends are more important than anything in our lives
I think the reveal of metroplex was really cool. They keep talking about, and letting you really drink up that everywhere on cybertron is either crap, or being moved out of for posterity and to bide resources (or just needing to pull out of there). And in the final days protecting the ark, as this city becomes a target of extremely concentrated siege and marauding, optimus begins to see this particular city is repairing itself.
This moment along with the moment when Megatron and Soundwave convert Trypticon into the Nemesis are the saddest moment, I know Trypticon was a decepticon but I actually felt so bad for him 🥲
Men when i was younger i played this game all the time it was my favorite game along side black ops 2 and i didn't know that metroplex died i thought he got sad cuz they left
