As of this writing 34 people have no earthly idea what cool, or great, or smooth, or classic is. Till has it all. Simply beautiful, tasteful, and very well done people. Piano player is killer as well.
Couldn’t be anything cooler .. piano, base, drums ..... I just can’t stop dancing all alone and feeling cool as ... even at 82 ... wish Till would come to Australia 🇦🇺
Well I’m back 2 years later listening again. Dang that is just so so good! I’m listening intently to the piano solo. Man that’s tasty. A real musician knows how to play with great skill but not over play at the same time.
A Tony Bennett classic uniquely interpreted by this great trumpeter with an array of excellent musicians. What a treat for the soul! This is the way great music was meant to be played.
Just beautiful, one of my favorite songs and your version is top shelf in the same way as Hank Mobley’s. And please pass on to the band they are simply wonderful, absolute unit!
🌟👑💎🏆👏🎶🎺🎶🎹❤️💐🍷
I am older than every one here. I am a ex jazz and classical flutist. Currently I am a software engineer ... But I can say this to any cauliflower ear youngster listening to this .. THIS IS THE SHIT This guy on trumpet is really a genius on Trumpet. His passages, his ideas .. are way off into the future beyond your grasp.
All I could think of while I was listening to this was "Sinatra on Trumpet and Nelson Riddle on Piano". I don't have any Superlatives for the Guitarist, the Bass or Drummer because I've never heard any that mesh so well with each other and provide such great support. Some kind of Small Group Genius is at work here folks and it is not only Stunning but Brilliant.
I think the 'like a fine whiskey' analogy, though hackneyed, applies well here. For those who can appreciate a refined aesthetic experience this is nice production.
