"Entre dos tierras" is a cover of a song originally performed by the Spanish rock band Héroes del Silencio. "Entre dos tierras" by Till Lindemann is a powerful and introspective song that delves into themes of self-empowerment and the struggle to maintain one's identity amidst external pressures. The lyrics convey a sense of defiance and resilience in the face of judgment and criticism.
Till was a big fan of the original song when it was released back in the 90's. Imo he did a cool interpretation of the song. Also he used to live in Cost Rica for a while with his daughter. So yes, even if he speaks it with heavy german accent, he speaks Spanish really well. The video itself is about how the Europeans conquered middle and south America. With all the deseases they caught and spread and the cruelties that the Conquistadores used. With love from Germany 🤘🏻 ❤
It's strange, he speaks three foreign languages quite fluently, but all with a heavy German accent, as everyone says. I find it funny because he comes from Northern Germany.🤗
Heroes del Silencio aka HdS were and still are one of the best Latin bands of all time. You can't imagine what a pleasure it was to hear HdS and Till in this iconic song! Superb!
Till did a hell of a job on this Héroes Del Silencio cover, it should be noted that they were pretty popular in Germany in the 90's as well. So it's not surprising that Till was a fan from that point on, I bet 👍
As a huge Heroes Del Silencio fan, this is weirdly cool. You guys really should check out the original. They have lots of great songs. The Sharon Stone movie is Basic Instinct.😉👍
It's a cover of a very popular Spanish song. I think the video is partly about cultural appropriation and colonisation which would explain the blonde dreadlocks.
I love this cover so much, sounds like Rammstein with that wild riff, vocals are great like always, and we hope than you will react of the rest of the album!
2:41 Can you imagine that there was a huge outcry in Germany after the publication of this video ( and especially that scene?) ? There are RU-vidrs who say colon the disgusting comeback of Lindemann's point and they say that he would use violence against women in the video and that he is totally disrespectful towards women. I think these are the same people who think that Arnold Schwarzenegger is actually a Terminator (In the John Wick films, I think it was part 2, I would say there were probably 200 men killed in the film, and the one woman in the hotel, she wasn't killed, but no one complains, that there is violence against men...)
Nice to hear that master piece again after all the years. I like Till's version. I guess he chose it to refer to the stuff he went through the last year. Yo no tengo la culpa...
Please check out the original song from "heroes del silencio". I love Rammstein and Till and this cover is not bad, but the original version is a masterpiece. Greetings from germany 👋😃
I always loved that song, since the eighties, great to hear it again in Tills version, but he could´ve stick to the great guitar build up as the original, but fine version
Como siempre reacciones excelentes, creo que héroes del silencio es igual a Rammstein, sin cantar en inglés sonaron duro en todo el mundo aún en países angloparlantes héroes pego en Alemania holanda toda europa saludos de México amigos
The video looks like a combination of Werner Herzog's Fitzcarraldo and Duran Duran's Hungry Like the Wolf (especially the forest girl.) The clothing in both the film & video is similar, as is the setting.
Hello! 1️⃣Our Demise - Flesh Vessel (this music is similar to your intro and this song is very cool and i think both Matt and Chels will like this song because it matches your tastes); 2️⃣DARK WATCH - Amaterasu_Iris Infernus; 3️⃣Exitwounds - «Ameliorate»
How are we expected to know this when not even Till Lindemann has that information in the description box of his video. We aren’t going to look up every single song title we come across to find out if it’s a cover. That should have been on the artist that did the cover. Document yourself before making stupid comments.
@@MatandChelsReact You run an RU-vid channel (and I assume you wanna make a living from it). Then be professional. There are hundred of other similar people doing exactly the same thing as you do. If you want to be ahead of some of them then do a little research before making ... you know the drill.
@@juliamichels9696 that is exactly what I think about THIS version: all the nuances and the depth of the original has been lost and made the track absolutely monodimensional and totally flat. All the dynamic has been lost. But if you like this, go for it. I will stick with the original
