In the book, Tantai Jin and Li Susu was trapped in a demon lair full of devilish Qi and he absorved it all using the crossbow, but without exposing the devil artefact in front of Susu eyes. And he used this devilish Qi to confront Si Ying and Jing Mie and also Gonwe Jiwu(full of devilish Qi) in the Demon realm. And I ended up reading in this part because there is no translation yet to the other chapters, but I think he is about to become the Devil soon.
