I got the German Chocolate Cake at Kroger last week, and I loved it!! I really want to try the Hazelnut next😀 Going today so I might get lucky and find it! I’m a Vanilla Ice Cream girl, but Tilamook is delicious no matter what flavor you get❤️❤️
You two were entertaining to watch…thank you so much for reviewing these. I live in WA and I’m a big Tillamook fan. I got an e-mail about the Dark Chocolate Collection, but wasn’t sure which one to try. Your review really helped. Today Tillamook was on sale “buy one, get one FREE,” at Fred Meyer and I couldn’t refuse! I followed Tami’s advice and got the Hazelnut and I’m sure glad I did! Yum! I just love that combo, and mix-in ratio suited my preference.
Holy moley. Our Kroger usually has this on sale about every 3 weeks at 2 for $7. I bought some today for $3.47 at Albertsons. I love the German chocolate.
I’ve bought the brownie batter version several times and it had lots of brownie pieces. Love this one. Maybe you got an off batch or the brownie nuggets are at the bottom. Thanks for the reviews!
Back in the 1990s my friend Cyndi and I would get really stoned and then get the munchies. So we would go to Baskin Robbin’s and I would get the German Chocolate cake ice cream! It was so good. It was decadent! Now they only really release that flavor every 10 years or something. It was packed with brownie/cake pieces! I want it back!!!
That German chocolate from Baskin Robbins is HEAVEN!! I feen for it all the time lol literally headed to go to the grocery store currently to get tillamook’s because baskin robbin’s isn’t available
Really nice to have your thoughts on a complete collection like this. Do you have a favorite dark chocolate ice cream? I appreciate your review here but wondering if maybe there’s more dark chocolate ice cream to try?
I'm with Kevin the German chocolate cake is the best! Only thing is I have to eat around the pecans because they are very hard! I'm glad it's available at our Kroger
The German Chocolate is available at Giant Eagle, but we don't have Publix or Kroger here. Tillamook is great ice cream. I pick some up when it's on sale.
Saw these a few weeks ago and was SO tempted but resisted, hoping I’d see them in a haul and I did ❤ Now just to decide which to try first!! Yum! Wonder if they are only available for a limited time 🤔 Thank you!!
The German cake is my choice with coconut n pecans yummy! The add-ins should be more than is…I’m surprised that Tillamook was stingy with the add ins. Thanks for an awesome review and finding these ice creams. Enjoy the ice creams, lol, I’ll be thinking of you.
The only one I really wouldn’t pick would be the brownie… this is one of the best ice creams in shareable sized containers… I dint know if I’d choose any of these over their current flavors as I love vanilla more… I do agree there aren’t a lot of mix ins in this brand… but I really don’t mind that…
Because the last time when you said something was from Publix was when you guys did the crusty chocolate bars mix and you guys didn’t have a Publix around so you didn’t have access to that is there one in your guises area that’s brand new or that just opened
I love chocolate but I’ve never been a chocolate ice cream person. I don’t mind it for mix-ins/chocolate swirl/chunks, etc. But I can never get into a base itself.
The only ice cream that has enough mix ins in it is Blue Bell and Talenti. The rest are stingy. I reported🎉 it to Turkey Hill, Tillamonk, and another company because I bought a bunch of containers with hardly any mix ins in it. Also, tired different flavors and it was the same thing. Nothing was done to fix it. So I will no longer purpose their products in the future, even if it’s new flavors. Thanks for the review though.
Personally I'm not crazy chocolate-overloaded ice cream. I like it, but I get tired of it quickly. My dad can't get enough chocolate ice cream though; he'd be all over the first two.
I love Tillamook, and I eat dark chocolate every night. So, I'll have to give these a try, though my expectations have been lowered due to the lack of mixins. Thanks for the amazing review, as always.
@@TamiDunn a bowl of plain Publix vanilla ice cream, is my number one, favorite dessert of all time. Nothing better than that! 🥰 That’s my birthday treat too 😉
I wish they would have mixed it up, 2 dark and 2 milk chocolate. I’m glad that the brownie pieces had a good texture, but I need more mix-ins and a little more sweetness. However, it is dark chocolate and that to me is typically not as sweet. I’m on the fence with these. If I do decide to buy, I’m going with the Brownie Batter and second would be the German Chocolate. Thanks for a great review.
