This is true, he has two kitchens. One with industry grade equipment etc and one downstairs Tana uses for family meals he calls the 'MFI' kitchen, he talks about it in his book 'Humble Pie'
Most chefs don't cook at home! It's tiring and they do it all day long! I have a friend whose dad is a fantastic chef but she never often got to try his food growing up, her mum was the home cook.
I get it, he needs a break from cooking and if he’s content with what others in the family cook or take out then that’s great. Just like I’m a teacher and babysit on the side. When I’m on break some people think that means I’m available for tons of babysitting. I’ll do some and I love kids, but I need a break
my dad worked as a cook for a few years and when i was at his on the weekends, he never cooked… always got pizza or something even tho he always talked about how great his food was.
Yep thats standard with chefs, i have a friend that is a great chef and when he comes home he just throw in a pan pizza or something to microwave. I mean they need a break from cooking when they do it 12 hours per day, so when they are home - they want to do something else... Its just like many other occupations etc being a pshycologist or what ever. You dont want to come home and do analyzes on youre family members.
Yeah I can see that Gordon rarely cooks at home. While he probably is more of an entrepreneur now than a chef, it makes sense that he wants to relax at home. Also most of his children are adults or grown up teenagers now, so he doesn't need to do a lot of cooking for them.
@@tommykempston2071 your comment had a negative undertone “nothing wrong with that we all do in life at one stage” I find it quite bizarre that her weight was the thing that made you need to comment. Women’s weight for more than most is a massive insecurity and it’s men like yourself (I assume you’re a man as your name is Tommy) who make comments like yours that set a negative stigma and lessen women’s confidence.
It's not okay to be obese. Infact, let's call it what it is...FAT. It is a massive health issue that needs to be addressed. On top of that, people need to understand that, doing everything in life when you are FAT is doing life on the hardest difficulty. Stay fit, stay healthy. Enjoy life. Peace.
So much fakeness in such a short video. Ramsey has completely saturated himself with regards to TV. So talented but he's just a parody now that I can't enjoy watching one of my industry heroes.
People are here commenting on how fat she got without even thinking she might have some sort of disease or whatever. What if she's got a hormonal imbalance or her treatment makes her fat?
Tilly is really a sweet girl. She was here in Australia for our Master Chef series and she was so down to earth and humble and really talented with food..no wonder..❤
@@julieannejoolzto say ‘it doesn’t matter at all’ is the reason why people accept being morbidly obese these days. I understand it might not make her a bad person, but it surely makes her weak and unhealthy to a point where it can cut your life very short. If you wouldn’t say smoking cigarettes is good then don’t praise obesity.
True. My brother is a professional chef, and he legit NEVER cook at home. Well unless there's a special occasion. He say "I've been cooking whole day at work, you gonna make me do it again at home??"
@@NonanoN-er6de I don't expect teacher parents to use the whiteboard, give exercises, and homeworks for their own kids at home. But it's not that hard to implement discipline and teach good values both at work and at home.
