Nice video. I will wait a bit before playing because all sweats are playing now and I am not that good. I didn't play until this evening when my son got home. I saw the madness from the first few games on RU-vid but by the time we played it wasn't too special. Everyone said the loot is what made titled so great. The loot was horrible. My son and I prevailed at Tilted 3 out of about 6 landings. For us it was fun when a lightning storm chased us around and we were battling with junk loot against people with junk loot. So it being so bad is what made titled fun for us tonight but otherwise hype fail Maybe Epic should have asked players why they liked tilted because they seem to have done nothing but pluck the POI onto the map. I'm not OG so I didn't get the hype. Tabor Hill helped me understand and that's good because I experienced Tilted today and definitely did not discover it for myself.

It's not even the loot honestly, people were just hyped when Tilted came out in S2 (or late S1?) and it quickly became a place were the majority of people would land every game. You could spend the most of the match there and still be fighting. We also didn't land there much, since most times someone would end up dying anyway and there weren't reboot vans available at that time.

@@nibsnibs We had fun to be sure. Played the most duos we have played in one setting in a long time. However we both agree that even though it's fun, our experience suggests that those who were super stoked should get outside more often. We will see how it plays out. It doesn't seem like it will hurt the map any or will it? The hype verses reality calls the state of the game into serious question. Tilted is the last of the much anticipated rumors from the past several months to arrive, and the hype for Titled itself reflects players desperately wanting to recapture an earlier feel of the game. It does not appear to have held its own even for a full day as special hot spot. I'm starting to understand why some people want the Chapter 2 map back. Epic was deliberately destroying Chapter 2's map to fuel desire for a new one, but if you take away the corruption and other deliberate decay Chapter 2's map definitely worked better. Imagine a Tilted towers instead of cube town and few would disagree. Of course a big part of the let down may be that Epic jumbled up everything again. In Chapter 2 Season 8 they had the foundation of an excellent XP system. They started with it being too weak and ended with it being too strong, but the mechanics of it were really good. This season just lamely trickles out some quests. They're super easy to knock out and then Battle Royale is just a sweat contest with better XP and more engaging fun being found in other modes more this season than the previous 2. Apparently with Epic if it ain't broke they'll try to break it again.

Also nobody wants that trash ass c2 map back, the c3 one is way better let alone tilted towers, hell even without tilted it’s still light years ahead. But this game's hype died long ago and it’s never coming back unless a miracle happens
