Don’t know where is best to reach out, but even if this isn’t read I still want to put this out there. I could go on for a while, but instead I’ll cut to the chase. With stuff like this video, it pushed me to actually improve at the game. Now I’ve finally hit Unreal. So big thanks for all the help
In diamond 3 now, and I’m not so confident on taking advantage of some of these skips. But I can definitely implement some of the more subtle changes. It’ll take some practice to chain drift upside down, and I want to get down some drift as we go up and down those small hills. But the largest piece of advice will likely be using all 3 boosts off of that boost pad. As previously I was landing on the track and trying to get a speed boost out of a small drift. I’m not sure on how wise it is for me to delay the practice of more difficult maneuvers, but so far I’m getting by. As of this moment I’d say what’s hurting me most is just being unpracticed on maps in general, instead of just having unrefined routes
If there is anything to take away from this video it would be when to boost. Practicing the maps is huge when you get to the higher ranks and will give you a huge advantage over others. Be sure to check out the key mechs video to get the basics on the mechanics needed. Keep grinding! Good luck!
I’ve actually spending some time practicing in private, and it’s both exciting and humbling. I’ve just been trying to get down that first off-road skip, while just bypassing the beam boost pad, and that got me down to 3:43. Which is significant for me, as my usual route had me around 3:53. Plus, it was basically just that singular addition (I tried doing multiple new things at once and the lowest I got was 3:48). All that said, I’m a lobby like this that puts me basically in last place. Don’t know if part of the difficulty is just the lobby difference. Like, I’m unaware how much of a difference a champion lobby would be in comparison to what we got in this video. Either way, I’m gonna put more time into refining Tilted Turnpike. It’s been nice not needing to grind stuff out, and I’m still managing in D3, but it’ll be necessary as I climb the ranks. And once I get a track mastered, that’s basically all there is besides maybe a refresher. As for an actual question, how would you rate the difficulty of mastering titled turnpike in comparison to other maps at this level? This is partially genuine curiosity, as well as some hopium on my part that I’ll have an easier time/less work to do.
A 3 43 is a great time for D3, the lobby that you saw in this video has at least 6 top 100 players. So, this lobby is still quite a long way off of what a champion lobby would look like. I don't know what times they are running but I would imagine maybe 5 seconds slower until you get to the top of champ. I'd say titled is an easy track to improve on as there are a lot of different areas that will greatly impact the time, however it may be in the middle in terms of difficulty to master. There are quite a few tracks that I would say are much more difficult than it. Congrats on the improvements, looking forward to hear more!
Hopefully it isn’t too irritating, but practice is showing results. I do regret not getting a clip of my 3:43 run, because I’ve yet to match it in all my practice runs. Speaking of, I’d consider it a success. I still intend to dedicate one more session to it, but even a few runs in I’m feeling the difference. Had a nearly perfect run, and got a 3:44. Again, I don’t have a clue how I got 3:43 (even though I 100% did). My best guess is that I’m maybe taking that corner skip by the tree too early/conservative? I’m not certain, but even if it is then I’m currently comfortable with things as they are. Once I really cement things down I’ll move onto a different map. And if I ever have to return to this map, I’ll be shooting to familiarize myself with hitting the boost pad off of the construction site skip
Making that route through the construction zone is hard.... I can't do it using an actual drift boost, I have to just turn and let the car drift itself and then cancel out of it
I love these breakdowns they've helped me a lot, but when u say these routes will dominate up threw elite, I tested that and hopped on practiced this route on this track a bunch till I felt confident then jumped on ranked once I got this track I tried the already practiced route in elite 50% ish and everyone is already doing this I did it well not as good as u but pretty good and everyone had 3 boost at the end and it came down to that last inverted exit and I took 5th! My point here is I think everyone is getting so so much better that it's so much harder to climb the ranks now compared to when alot of u unreals climbed earlier in the season. It's 1\20\24 when I tested this. I wish there was a way for u to go on somebody else's account in a lower rank and do a vid to see how sweaty the lower ranks are now. I'm wreckinbalzz friend me

Few things love your channel but weird route I must say the start jumping over the mountain u lose so much drift then drift in construction is dangerous death then beam boost pad Risky not worth at all then the air drift tree shortcut risked tree death and lose so much drift and your suppose to use all 3 boost over the second long straight away
