I love when are silly, they do it so well, love this version. I just saw them in concert for the first time a week ago and it's Chance that does that last part you were wondering about
This is a very fun remake of this song. Everyone sounded great as usual. Glad they kept in Rob's whistling. But I will always love the original video back in 2014 the best. I think the words & visuals fit it much better. But I can understand that they wanted to change it up a bit in the new version. Still a lot of fun.
I have been WAITING for you to react to this one! So much fun, great song and another video that just lets the guys just run with their sense of humor.
I agree with your assessment. Both are fun. Loved them in the water with their safety vests. Loved Chance’s Captain hat too. Hahaha. Such a fun song. Rob is a great whistler!
It's sometimes difficult to tell who does what without seeing them, but I believe Chance was doing the bassline throughout the song. At the end it was either Chance or Tim. I doubt it was Rupp. Thanks for the reaction.
Tim Foust wrote it and, insofar as I know, the only versions of it are by Home Free. It's adorable that she literally threw him overboard. I love all of their videos. Thanks for playing this one & your comments.
What a fabulous remake of this Home Free/Tim Foust original. I love getting to hear how they have updated it. This is so good, the difference between these versions! Thank you for the reaction DJ
You certainly picked up on differences in the two renditions of this song that I hadn't noticed. I guess I was too wrapped up in watching the performances. These guys could have successful acting careers, especially Tim with all the expressions he was showing. I'm glad you explained why HF is re-doing some of their older songs. It is a good business move on their part, so I hope people take to watching the new versions to help support them financially. Gail L.
I truly am enjoying your reactions. I just joined your Patreon. I Love your enthusiasm, genuine love for music, caring for your community and overall charisma puts a smile on my face every-time I watch. Home Free brought me to you but I’m excited to see the rest of your catalog.❤🔥
I read in the comments (either on their video or a reaction) that the beer Tim had in his pocket at the end apparently wasn’t completely sealed. He spit it out because lake water had gotten into it.
@@thomasmacdiarmid8251, well, they show him drinking whatever’s in the cans several times without spitting it out. They could easily use cans of root beer (since it tends to foam up more than most carbonated drinks) with phony labels to make them look like beer. So being tainted by lake water stems more likely to me.
@@DennisKovacich They're drinking Busch NA (non-alcoholic), which is why it has the red-striped label. They probably used it so it seemed more authentic, as the song is sort of about booze. I agree though, I've had the Busch NA, and it's basically seltzer water. Being contaminated by lake water probably made it even more unbearable.
