The world is changing, and it’s changing fast. Technology makes information more accessible every day. This changing digital scene brings with it new challenges to maintaining purity as a Christian-for singles, for couples, and for families as a whole, including children. Christians are called to guard their hearts, and in this session, Tim Challies recommends some tools that do just that. He also explains some ways of bringing about change within one’s heart in order to fight against and repent of sin.

What a great message. Wasn't this conference right before RC Jr was outed by The Impact Team for having an Ashley Madison adultery account? And RC Jr was a speaker there too? What irony!

Didn't RC Jr speak at this same conference? Did he hear this Tim Challies presentation? This conference happened right before RC Jr was outed for having an Ashley Madison account. But Ashley Madison wasn't the end of his lewd proclivities. He's also been outed more recently for even worse things. As just one of several examples Google "RC Sproul Jr Steven Sitler." There's also other articles on that blog that expose that RC Jr has some serious morality issues.

Brother- you do realize that this country was not "unknown and uncharted" before Europeans arrived, right? Im surprised to hear such an intelligent, educated, thoughtful man of God say something so historically ignorant. Millions of Native people lived all over this continent, and had it known and charted well before we came. Just saying- that opener left an awful taste in my mouth for it's ethnocentricity. I get that was not the point of the talk, but come on, brother- we need to do a bit better with the facts.

Life at home, I do understand your feelings about the opening. Indeed be proud of your heritage, but as all of us being fallen, we are much like an ant, trying to throw cotton balls to the human, Tim can be forgiven for this thing you feel is an error, it will do well for both doing such. And with that forgiveness, in Jesus, who is the only way, truth, and life Tim did cover many important facts, done in the name of Jesus. Continue to grow in Christ, My brother in Jesus, God be with :-)
