sorry Bru maybe if Tim didn't make it so apparent just how jealous the east was of the west success then it coulda been a good album..the production is good but his lyrics man and his hooks which were just the same shit said over and over with a bunch of Yea's and then that title Penicillin On Wax? wtf? I feel Bru was trying too hard but...and this is coming from a cat that's lived in the Bronx most of my 35 yrs.. but still all that being said the album isn't bad ..to this day it makes me laugh mostly but it would've been much better imo if he didn't have such a hard on to diss the west and am I trippin or did he say "I'll crush ice cube" in Fuck Compton? maybe he squashed it with Cube between the recording of Compton and this track but seeing that they're from the same album it does make it seem like he can't make up his mind...even with my criticisms though I acknowledge Tim's place in Hip Hop History..I hope u resting peacefully T
He's dissing NWA in these verses. This was actually the first East - West beef, although I don't think Tim Dogg was connected to Biggie, Suge etc in any way. Kool Keith has said that TD only wanted to start an NWA beef to boost his sales because they were so popular around 1990.
He was down with ultramagnetic mcs' which were dope at the time you don't know hiphop. You are talking about shooting people wtf are talking about. It is a song but that would never happened. He isn't a lyrical genius but this was hard when it came out.
was having a rough day till i listened to this...LOL i remember when this first came out and no one could figure what the hell got into Tim Dog to drop these songs..but damn they were comedy....lol and still are...
I get drunk every night and listen to this and his other songs for fun like " The Dog's gonna Getcha" Seriously though it was a smart move on his part. Compton was totally dominating shit at that time and he was a nobody, so to get his name in the fucken Limelight he attacked the alpha males of the game and he got some recognition.
@@futuregohan4837 do you know how he died??? I think this is pretty kick ass! Especially having a Doberman in this video should have more of the Doberman in here. This is cool Tim Dog ok...
"Against the DOG, the only dope rapper you had was ICE!!! I remember when this came out, beats were hard, and this is one of the best tracks from the whole album!
This shit goes hard. People say he's the worst rapper ever....he's better than lil wayne, and all them trap rappers for sure and sorry but he bodied NWA. NWA sucks without Cube.
That’s not true the nigguz for life album is a classic. NWA didn’t respond to him because they felt like he wasn’t worthy of a reply. Like when Cool c made juice crew diss. Shan, Kane, Ace, G Rap never gave him the attention basically he had to sit at the kiddie table
DJ Quik said in a old interview everything was cool between them and they he had officially squashed the beef in 97 and Tim was working on music in his studio
Do I remember Tim Dog. He had balls a fire. And to make it more comical he went out there to sing it in Compton and they said hell no. Hahaha he was funny. I respect his gangster. R.I.P TIM DOG.
its all production. Dre had better production hands down!! IF Tim Dogg had a better studio that can produce a decent audio and video the competition would be heavy.
They Thought He Faked His Death Because He Owed Like 2mil,And Because They Didn't Find His Death Certificate,But His Death Certificate Came Out A Year Later And His Death Was Confirmed.
@@forenziczteam you sure? I just saw a video with Fed Gee, and he didn't say that he was dead. He was asked about Tim, and he did say that he was dead, and they spoke about the rumor of him being dead after he swindled those women out of their money.
