I’ve been married 33 years now and my wife has went through so much because of my sickness. She’s never said a harsh word about helping me and my last surgery she went above and beyond and was there waking me up when I had passed out. God sent me a angel.

This song speaks exactly what my wife Jennifer and I have felt in our hearts 💕 and in a way only God could have placed in our hearts... hearts that He changed and turned towards Him and towards one another. We've never truly loved another person like we loved each other for the first two years of our relationship... but... we greatly struggled with pride, past hurts in our hearts, selfishness and not fully surrendering our hearts to God and loving each other in the way He showed us to. Just 2 months ago our marriage was all but over, I mean literally papers on the table over, only needing one signature left to finish this legally according to the state of Florida, but not according to God and His will. I've struggled with controlling my mouth in certain times, not being quick to listen, not being slow to speak, not loving Jennifer like Christ loved us, letting past wounds in my heart come out at the worst times in the worst ways and hurting her heart, causing emotional damage on top of the already present emotional damage from her past, but listening properly but instead listening to respond, listening to defend myself or get my selfish point across, to manipulate things to be done my way instead of God's way. I didn't submit myself to God nor to her, putting her needs above my own and laying down my pride. For 3 months I'd lost her, seemingly forever, completely. I couldn't get even the slightest response from her other than occasional hurtful words that I felt a pain from that I'd never felt. The absence from my best friend, my life partner, my sister in Christ, the perfect for me wife that God blessed me with was more painful than anything I'd ever even imagined, like we'd been ripped apart violently by something I never saw coming. No happy Thanksgiving with my wife. No happy birthday early in December for her, nor happy birthday Christmas eve for me, no merry Christmas for us to celebrate our risen King Jesus together, no new years kiss to ring in 2022. It was absolutely the hardest holidays ever for me and for us. We have a very real enemy who seeks to kill, steal and destroy us and he almost did. But God.... He sent His Son that we would have and enjoy our lives and our marriage, in abundance, to the full... When I was at the end of myself and couldn't fight anymore, couldn't do anything else in my own strength or by my own might, and threw in the towel with tears of sorrow in my eyes, then and only then, He came in and changed our lives, once the surrender came He was in control and I was out of His way, her heart broken and able to be molded, my heart broken to pieces and able to be molded by The Potter, He changed our hearts in a way that we've and especially I'd never ever experienced in my life. The papers were not signed, the marriage was fully restored and healed in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏 He brought my beautiful, God given wife back in a more special way than I could've ever dreamed of, thought of or imagined. We're doing amazing and are committed to God, in full surrender and committed to each other in a more beautiful way than ever and for the rest of our lives, as this song says. Thank You God for Your favor, for Your mercy, for Your correction and conviction, for Your unconditional love and forgiveness. All the glory, honor and praise to You Jesus, forevermore. God, Jennifer and Rick, until He calls us Home to Heaven.
