Tim, you’re not wrong with the “core memory” comment. I found your content during the pandemic. My mate had told me about this new thing COD had released called Warzone, but I wasn’t sure. I took the plunge with him and a few friends and was hooked immediately. We were online most evenings playing and grafting for the first quad win. We had a few successes but mostly disappointed, but with hilarious consequences. As tough as the pandemic was. It was peak time for gamers as saying indoors during the summer months wasn’t frowned upon for once. I’ve not moved away from your content still and I hope to god they bring original Verdansk back for nostalgia vibes and take us back to a simpler time of online gaming. Back when we didn’t need all of the extras they’ve added now to keep it “fresh”. Cheers ❤
I really never liked Verdansk that much. I started playing it cause it was free and it was cool but as soon as Cold War came out i never really played Verdansk again because it was boring with everyone camping in the giant buildings. Loved Rebirth Island but Fortune's Keep was probably my favorite map so glad they brought it back.
This video brings back so many memories. And YES they need to bring back Kar98/Swiss style sniping. Maybe do sniping/no sniping modes like Fortnite does with build/zero build. But everyone I talk to loved those guns. Don’t sacrifice the love of so many for the whining of the noobs. Love you Tim!
It's honestly crazy how Warzone 1 was able to capture that CoD feeling of like a Black Ops 2 where you feel like you are in a peak gaming era, it's hard to explain.
The updates to Warzone over the years have been good but when Verdansk is back I hope they have an old school mode. No backpacks, no overkill/ghost combo, no buying weapons and perks.
The only super toxic and OP meta he forgot is the dragon's breath KV Broadside. There was nothing more frustrating than dying to a guy using the KV with a riot shield in WZ2.
I loved the k98.... but my overall favorite gun to use period was the spr with a blue dot holo.... there was no better feeling than blue dot quick scoping with the spr and the occasional hdr style cross map with a fkn holographic sniper! Lol
the Swiss and the Tundra Tim will be back i hope with the new game Black Ops! Since it was both Black Ops Cold War guns! But Kar98k i wish we get it sometime soon but they will not bother! And ofc it will not be the Kar or Tundra or Swiss we once knew! They will be 2 shot kills or Tundra will be oneshot with explosives! I miss so much the Kar,Tundra,Swiss,SPX days! so much fun and no give a damn if he get oneshot death! he had the same gun! Nowadays the players want to fry with AR/BR/SMG/LMG/SHOTGUNS but they won't Marksmans or Snipers to do its actual job! oneshotting twoshotting etc etc! That's why this game will eventually die or will eventually be for the sweaties and not for the average players!
I want this style of video, but for gameplay across different versions of warzone, what people hated, and how it got addressed in later versions. Because I could've sworn people didn't like verdansk but over time people seem to hold it in high regard so I'm curious if certain people's opinions have stood the test of time
Kar and Swiss were probably my favorite. I can't remember the shotgun but there was a full auto shotgun that was meta on rebirth island that was fun too
I hope that COD doesn't ruin this game again and take us through another Warzone 2 period. Just keep building off what we have now, add snipers similar to the Kar, Swiss, etc. Add Verdansk and Rebirth, and let it roll.
This guy forgot about the meta right before MW2 came out, where they rebuffed several guns from MW, Coldwar and nerfed certain vanguard guns to create the best meta warzone has ever seen.
6:12 Cold War was the first COD game I bought on the PS4. Then after finding Timmy’s channel and got interested in Warzone. Then I bought MW2 /Warzone. But somehow managed miss the ability to have my Cold War guns in War Zone
@@quest064 Not necessarily, Wz1 consisted of mw2019, cold war, and vanguard. They also had a map change from Verdansk to Caldera. When mw2 came out it had its own warzone that being wz2 and wz1 was done away with. Then when mw3 came so did wz3. Wz3 plays with weapons from mw2 and mw3 but not cold war. Cold War was only in wz1 that's it outside it's own game. So I would say it updated but I would not say it was revamped
@@quest064 they did away with Cold War in its entirety with wz2 and up. Cold War was solely for wz1 which no one can play anymore because it was shut down. Now you can only play what’s in cold war itself. (Campaign,multiplayer, and zombies)
I need that style of Sniping back. The Swiss and Kar were perfect! And snipers should be 1 shot if you hit a headshot. Fix bullet velocity so people with ARs and LMGs could challenge snipers. That's how snipers were balanced in WZ1.
