How could anybody not like Tim Tebow.....he’s a good dude man...I didn’t like the dude at Florida bc well I’m a UK fan so you can imagine but he’s just a good dude man...makes you wanna sit up and just strive to do better as a human....I’m a fan!!
Nah he washed the fuck out because he vouldnt handle the NFL.... he had 1 amazing season but when it came back around to see if this was the real deal or not, it was a fluke... and when they offered him second string positions he was greedy and said "im a starting qb" what a fucking ballsack... he ruined his own career because he couldnt take not being a prodigy... he could have learned and worked his way back to the spotlight but NOOOOOO he is fucking spare parts bud. He vould have had Fame and Glory but he decided to choose Greed and God....
That’s cause Tim is an all around great human being. Whether you think he played well in the NFL or in baseball, you can’t deny his athletic talent. The thing about him is no one can say he’s not a truly nice guy. If you met him, you can’t not like him.
Tim doesn’t drink alcohol or curse. There’s a story that some of his teammates would tease him in the locker room by saying that they heard him curse (knowing he’s in ear shot). Tim would come over and deny cursing and the teammates would start to giggle. That’s how much of a “good” person he is. He lives his faith.
I met Tim after he got cut from the eagles at the philly airport. He took a picture with my mom and was a super nice guy even though he was going through an obviously hard time in his nfl career.
Man, I think you'll see that genuine admiration from other athletes in most documented interactions w/ Tebow. He's an authentic guy buy all accounts. Seems like the consummate competitor, motivator, and team player.
Dude took over a failure of a franchise that had lost hope halfway through the season, wins out gets to the playoffs which everyone said was a fluke then beat the Steelers in the playoffs and only lost to the freight train that was the Patriots that year.
Jets ended this mans career lets be real lol But I do think if he had stuck with it he'd of gotten a chance to start. Granted, I don't think he'd of ever been a superbowl winning QB considering the teams that'd of started him, but he still could've had a chance.
I hate Tim Tebow lol I got a cousin like that, blonde hair blue eyes handsome as a devil Christian. And you want it to be fake but then they're genuinely the nicest person you ever met.
It's like these two have known each other forever! Tim Tebow is so natural, and I think "passionate" is a great word for his approach to life. He's a man of integrity and faith -- and he knows how to have FUN ... great guy, and PMac just knows how to talk to everybody -- even the big icons! So much fun to watch. Thanks, Pat.
I love Tim Tebow. He is such a good guy. I wish he would have been a great NFL player because he deserved it. Out of all of the NFL players, ge is the one that is a good role model.
I said it years ago and I still think it, if a team would've stuck with him, given him the starting quarterback job, let him make his mistakes and learn I think he would've been pretty darn good. He might not have been the most talented classic quarterback but he had the drive and would've worked hard to have gotten better, and yes I am a Broncos fan and have been since 1973.
So I'm right handed, as is my wife. Growing up I used to constantly make fun of my little sister for being left handed. I have five children now, and ALL FIVE are left handed. Karma exists lol
Great interview Pat and crew. To all the Tebow haters who said that he sucks and can't play, just remember that all he did was Win and lead a team like very few men ever have. In return he turned his teammates into winners so read on and learn Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford's stats in college were dam near identical as far as passing goes. Bradford's 894 attempts for 604 completions. 67.6 percent 8,403 yards 88 TDs 16 ints for a rating of 175.6. Tebows 995 attempts 661 completions for 66.4 percent completion rate for 9,285 yards 88 TDs 16 ints. WOW didn't I say dam near identical?? Yes I did, but wait Bradford ran the ball 77 attempts for 36 yards and 5 TDs. Meanwhile back at the Swamp Tebow rushed 692 times for 2,947 yards and holy shit 57 TDs. So saying that he can't throw doesn't add up.Bradford was billed as one of the most natural throwers ever and we were told that Tebow should change positions to halfback or tight end? He would have been a hell of a Wildcat QB or imagine him in a run pass option offense or Kliff Kingsbury's offense? Great segment Pat keep up the great work!!!!
12:54 The highlight of this interview. This is a mindset and belief about failure that is hard to maintain. But very true. Sometimes the simplest approaches are incredibly difficult to remember day in and day out.
Aw still love me some Tebow ! Poor guy, persecuted for being white Christian who played quarterback like a black qb but BETTER but because wasn't black got mocked slandered ripped on persecuted to fullest. If he had been black he'd been in nfl to this day as qb lol I really hope REALLY REALLY REALLY hope this whole tight end thing works out for him and he gets to play few more years as a right end. Ps he is RIPPED now at 33 in best shape he's ever been lol
DuckDuckGooseChampion1996Through1999 😂yeah true at the major league level you don’t deal with idiots. My junior year of highschool I was in left and my center fielder didn’t hear me call him off dropped his head and started running looked up and his chin hit my forehead, shattered his jaw and gave me a TBI a severe concussion and I was in a wheelchair for 6 weeks😂. When people play like idiots in any sport you can get hurt
I'm surprised he didn't get another good shot somewhere after Denver. He was like 7-3 as a starter if my memory serves and he had that nice throw for the TD vs PIT in the playoffs. No one would take a shot on him. I also thought he should have been tried TE for NE though. He would have at least one ring.
The haters in suits messed with his pass technique to try and ruin him and then c*ck blocked him out of the NFL. So wrong. But, Tim is a perfect example of how to take lemons and make fresh-squeezed, crystal-clear, flaming, exploding lemonade. 🍹🏈⚾🔥
Great interview! When Pat said there's people watching this right now that are about to run through a wall, I'm one of those. I didn't realize how good of a speaker and inspirational person Tim was!
Pat can you get all different professional athletes on you're show, like more MLB players, NBA players or NHL players? Or is it just strictly football players for the most part? Either way love the show man, keep up the good work!✌
i think it would come down to personalities. if they get along and some what comedic. And just good people in general. Id imagine he would be open towards it
Tim’s been my hero since I was a kid. I’m 27 now. My grandfather who went to university of Florida, and was student president loved Tebow for who he was. Was a fan until he passed away a year ago. He got the whole family his autobiography lol
I wish Tim Tebow would consider a run with the Seahawks. If Tim and Russ combined their faith for a season, it could put a Super Bowl ring on his Finger. A decade ago, Seattle had a backup QB#15 Seneca Wallace. He would sub for trick plays. Sometimes as a WR or QB. I would love it if the Seahawks carved out a similar slot for T.T. to work with Russell Wilson. I don't see this scenario being successful with any other team or any other quarterback. Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks are the only combination that Tim could fit into just based on his character which is a result of his patient faith. He's always "down to earth." I'm not asking for Tim Tebow to spend the rest of his career in Seattle, all things considered at the moment, but just long enough for him to get his ring. And Russell will be getting at least one more... Mark my words...
Andy Reid didn't ask Patrick Mahomes to change his throwing motion. This is why Tebow excelled only in the 4th quarter. The game on the line and he would just play, not focus on mechanics.
What do y'all think of the idea for all-star games for all professional sports, where it's in the summer, and all-stars from all the sports have to attempt to play a game of a different professional sport. So maybe nba players will play a football game, the football players will play Ice Hockey game, hockey players will play soccer, soccer players will play baseball and MLB players will play basketball. I think it would be highly entertaining watching professional athletes try to play the other professional sports. Could always leave it up to the players to pick a sport that they would want to attempt to play! Could you imagine NFL linemen skating on the ice playing ice hockey? 😂👏👍
I'm sure it would be fun, but a lot of their contracts actually forbid some of those things. Some guys aren't even allowed to play a game of pick-up basketball etc...
