Listening to a veteran a coach a father and most importantly someone with compassion is so awesome and can't wait to see this man become vice president
I have noticed this throughout this convention with the Harris-Emhoff, Walz, Obama, Clinton, and other families. These people obviously care deeply for and are cared deeply by their families and are passionate about making America greater for all of its citizens. It is such a sharp contrast to what we see from the other side.

This has got to be one of the genuine and refreshing speeches I've heard at either convention. Walz is pure gold, and the Harris/Walz ticket is a force to be reckoned with. ❤❤❤

Second, last time I checked Minneapolis wasn't burned down, and he actually deescalated a situation which Trump verbally escalated, before he hid in his bunker like a coward. About Covid I am not informed, but I don't trust your sources, because it's apparently just something you read somewhere on the internet.

Your sensationalism and exaggeration on his Covid-19 handling is ridiculous and heaven forbid the man made a mistake near 30 years ago, then took accountability for his actions (unlike others) by offering his resignation as a teacher and football coach, only to better himself as a man and quit drinking afterwards.
I used social security survivors benefits to help pay for college. Probably about the same time as Walz. I think young people today might get the wrong idea about what's available to them. Fixing the problem might be what Walz is angling for at some point. It used to be that you could keep collecting the benefits after age 18 as long as you stayed in college. President Reagan ended that program. I was grandfathered in, But my younger siblings were not able to continue getting survivors benefits even if they went to college. In my case, the taxes that I paid in subsequent years were far and above any of the SS benefits I received.
I have the same story as you regarding Social Security Survivors Benefits. I am extremely great for for the help it provided me at a difficult time e in my family. Then Reagan killed the program.
@ curtisblake261 Maybe you paid more in in todays dollars than you used that long ago, but more than likely you will end up collecting more than you paid in. When SS was new more than 40 people were paying in for every person collecting. Now it is less than 3. Our current national debt owes SS over 6 TRILLION DOLLARS. Last years entire federal spending was 6.1 Trillion dollars. From all sources including FICA and FICA MED and all other taxes the Federal Government only took in 4.4 trillion dollars. 1.7 trillion dollars was borrowed and added to the National Debt.Out of the 6.1 trillion dollars spent, 3.1 trillion dollars was paid out to SS and Medicare. The Country is broke and can not keep spending money we don’t have.
I finally got to watch this talked-about acceptance speech of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz at the Democratic National Convention inside the United Center in Chicago, IL. Walz made things official, becoming the candidate of the Democrat Party for Vice President of the United States. He was a public school teacher, and he used to lead a football team to a championship. That last one was an astounding accomplishment included in his illustrious resumé!
Walz is in the right place at the right time. Our family is struggling with medical bills but remain hopeful that Harris & Walz will continue to build on Biden's efforts to help all Americans! VOTE BLUE for all the way!

You mean Dr and hospital shortages when they close down because they can’t survive on what Medicare reimburses them at? You mean 6 months just to get a routine drs appointment? But then there is the issue of him lying about his rank, lying about being a combat vet, lying about why he broke his reenlistment contract when he retired after only 4 years instead of the 6 he reenlisted for. Then there is the fact that he bailed on his troops AFTER finding out they were getting deployed to a REAL COMBAT ZONE, and violated military protocol to do it. I guess he stopped speechifying, because he had zero to say at the State Fair when asked about the execution of the hostages (one a Jewish/ American) by Hamas in Gaza. They both talk a lot and say zero, especially when it comes to policy.
