Good to see the Jeep is still getting work to it. It must be difficult for you guys to go to the house to the Jeep and back again. Just do what you can comfortly guys, and both jobs will get done in time. I envy you the Jeep, it's a great machine.
Looks great you are doing a great job love watching the kids helping to do the work teaches them life skills. Hang in there spring is coming here in ohio tonight we expect 3-5 inches of snow, yesterday it was in the 60's
Im so happy and as excited as you do... Slowly but surely its all coming together perseverance and hardwork and a family that is solid really can do wonders...keep on and Godbless you all thank you for sharing....
When you have a jammer with long a handle , you should hang on closer to end of handle so the hammer is doing the work not you wrist . You will regret it if you do much nailing . Nailing is really old school unless you have a pin nailer
Beautiful music and it all looks fantastic. It's built so we'll strong and with hard work together you should be all proud of yourselves. God bless guys from The Land and Down Under
Going to be a beautiful place when your done. Bet your happy to have it dried in, and not freezing your butts off outside. Had a cj2a 1947 willy's once, a lot of fun, gearing was way too low on those old ones like mine, 57mph top speed with a 289 ford in it, but it got there quick.
Tel, Rather spray the underside of the jeep with old used diesel oil. You won’t see the rust spreading under that rubber coating. It’s no good. At least you can respray the oil over and over at no cost, with all the heavy equipment you guys have got. Trust me. It’s true.
Should have put black tar paper up under those boards. They will shrink, you’ll see the paper insulation between the gaps. The black paper would hide the gaps. See just black. Vinny 🇺🇸
Tel, your Jeep tub is a M38A1 Military tub (a CJ5 is the same tub without the military features) . It has the dropped well for the oversized gas tank, the large fuel filler neck opening and no tailgate. The Dash is CJ5 not military as Military one has the glove box to the left of the steering column. You can't cut the floor out next to the tank well and the transmission hump because the frame is right there. If you want to use the CJ5 tank you'll need to remove the tank well and put a flat plate across it so the tank sits level and lines up with the filler neck opening...that's how the factory did it. Is your frame Military M38A1 or CJ5? Does it have the machine gun mounting plate on the top of the crossmember just behind the front seats?
I live in the top of the Texas Panhandle. We have been having 70 and 80 degrees. Last night a winter freeze warning! I will be waiting until May 7th to plant. Your place is coming along. How did you decide who got which room? I would have thought your daughter would have gotten the larger room? Maybe she wanted less to clean? You have come so far it looks lovely. I bet the children are also glad to have some space of their own. Thanks for sharing. Hope your hands are healing soon.
What a great visit/ The filming is really really nice and i think your numbers are beginning to climb because of it. The rooms look great. When you said you were going to use the pine I was wondering what it might look like, It looks wonderful, i am glad you will seal it, it would be ashamed to have it weather now. Get that youngster a nail pouch! Tell, The jeep looks great! You are doing it right and you will have a awesome ride when you are done! it will be so nice to see it all cleaned up, finished and painted! I am glad your hand is healing. My wife went through the same thing and although it was a pain,(no pun intended) it was worth it. i don't get the weather, It is nuts! I am sure you all are so tired of winter. Let it be spring already! all in all, a great visit. Thanks for letting us all come along.
Wow it's looking very nice I like the boards that you guys have chose to use . It will be so nice for you guys to get all settled in been a long time coming . Thank u for sharing your journey with us . I have really enjoyed the process u have shared with us all. Have a great day. Best wishes with the truck restore it's looking pretty good best wishes.
Coming together very nicely! Dang...that snow is blowing totally parallel to the ground. Hope you will be videoing the engine replacement when you get to that :)
Someone ticked the snow gods off as we are still catching chilly dust during the day and it has got up to almost sixty degrees outside and still purge some more snow. I don't think its global warming or clams dying on the beach El Nino problems.
The house is looking awesome!! Keep on keepin on. Can't wait to see more! The jeep is looking good too! Can't wait to see that ripping through the mud!
Good to see another stage coming to a close, but as always more stages on other projects will take their place... Good progress and nice to have work to do inside away from the weather...
It looks so good!! I am so excited for you!! I hope your hands are healing well and feeling better ♡♡ And the progress on the jeep is so exciting!! Sorry to hear about the truck engine as well, but its so exciting to be getting a new one, and that you can still keep your truck ♡♡
Love all the wood that's how we did our Lake cabin in northern Minnesota much better than drywall in my book... also awesome to see how the Jeeps coming our son restored in 1978 CJ5 Navy Jeep back to original condition and my husband has a 1979 CJ5 and we use it for going trail riding...
its great to see you getting work done on your willys Jeep i had one years ago but never got any work done to it and then i sold it as i moved interstate and couldnt take it with me

Looking GOOD you've come a long way for sure. What's going on the ceilings??? Quite a helper there dad he's doing a fantastic job too looks like. Good teacher??? and Good student too!!! LOL Typical spring weather...hot, cold, rain and snow LOL. So exciting walls done and doors in wow. God's blessings to you all.
@@bustedwagonranch4546 I presume you are talking about the ceiling throughout your home with old tin or metal ceiling? The only thing that would concern me is if there is rust, etc. on the metal not a good thing for indoors breathing the small particles one would think over time. There are tin tiles for ceilings that would look kewl as well out there. Just thought I would mention that. I can understand how it would look "neat" but maybe you could seal the old metal with some sort of clear sealant first before it's installed??? Just a thought.
