I have a set of wood racks like you showed, they do work just fine. I didn't realize that different sets would be off by a bit. I also was able to buy a bunch of scrap plywood from a company that sold their offcuts and I built my own big racks to go all over my shop.
I wish I had room for horizontal lumber racks. It's easier for me to store vertically in one corner where I can get to the boards more easily. If you have the wall space, go for it.
Thanks. I use the same kind attached to the 2x4s in my shed with no issues. Horizontal or vertical: I’ve found that just tossing lumber onto the basement floor is not a good third option!

Hopefully I'll be back to build videos soon - we've got the sparky due to come out tomorrow (chasing down tradies is frustrating!) so I can finally run the dust collector and combo machine. I'll be so much happier once that dumb air conditioner is gone and I stop leaking noise and dust into the house 🤣
