My grandfather pulled a trap off of a female wolf back in the late 70s. Casted her broken leg, fed her and healed her up and returned her to the wild. One year later she returned to show him her puppys. Nine months after that returned alone and lived her life out with him. Her name was lady and she stayed for nine more years. There is nothing like the Alaska wilderness
Yea Bc humans pussy they need guns lmao typical humans 2020 can’t fight always need guns but in reality they will eat us alive without guns humans run like bitches if they ain’t have a gun lmao lil bitch acting tough Bc if his gun
@@damianc5070 i mean, some human might have helped wolf in some way so that they learned to trust human. Just like in this video, wolf who was eager to run...sat calmly after he realised that human helped him.
lazy tea bag • 20 years no man I got what you meant I was just making a joke that when you have a gun people tend to be your friend 😂 it’s all good bro. My bad
@@stevenkoudanis5238 you never know what the animal could’ve done next, HOPEFULLY run off and not attack, but being so close, that’s actually a pretty big animal looking at him
It did not know that. That’s your human desire to bestow human intelligence on another species. K9’s while intelligent compared to say house cats are still no where near as cognitive as humans.
@@SappyIsHere Sailing Seahawk is right, y’all are weird for thinking the wolf is your friend. People being naive and dumb is usually the sole reason behind most incidents when wild animals maul/injure people. Obviously there are other ways people get hurt, and yeah it happens. But for the most part, it’s thinking like that.
@@rangiem2948 Ye.. it is a joke, "such stupid creatures" is what the wolf was saying, and when the wolf saw the human with a glock he got scared and said "hey bro we're all friends here" It is not even funny anymore since you didnt understand the joke within 5 seconds, so me explaining the joke now is pointless.. anyway have a good day whoever reading this crap
This is not an act of compassion. It’s standard operating procedure when you catch an animal not meant for the trap. Hunters and trappers are naturally compassionate about all wildlife.
Well, since it is illegal to kill timber wolfs (and they track numbers), plus the trap is probably for killing the same animals the wolf wants to eat, I am betting that the compassion played only a minor part in the decision.
@Badass Artifacts yeah this is not accurate whatsoever. This is false information dude. Apes are the smartest beings other than humans, and then dolphins, then elephants, then rats, then dogs. I don't know where wolves fall after that, but statistically your statement is inaccurate. They are very smart, but compared to a human, apes take that spot first 🥇
Such a relaxed wolf. Gets stuck in a trap, has a rope around his neck and pinned to the ground, then has his foot freed and the rope letting go though he decides it didn't want to let the rope/string go for a bit, but other then that, didn't make a sound, didn't make no sudden movements, just relaxed, just hanging out with the humans for a bit. Really is an amazing site to see as the wolf knows he isn't in any danger, these humans after all did just free him from a trap he couldn't get away from for who knows how long. Huge respect to those guys for doing that instead of shooting a vary important animal to the ecosystem, and one such good looking as him.
@@waterloo123100 Exhausted or not it would have still made an attempt to run. Of course it isn't totally relaxed but it is enough to not feel threatened. Also, she? you blind or just not able to tell gender, or possibly unable to read?
@@AngryCanineNo, if something is so exhausted it won’t run. I’ve seen plenty of female deer during the run being bred so hard by male deer that you can walk up and pet them. This wolf was definitely too exhausted to do anything. It barely fought off the rope around its neck. And it tired of it quickly.
Its beautiful how calm he was after, he realized you were trying to help even while he was trying to get away, thank you for helping this beautiful wolf
Thanks for saving this really beautiful animal 🐺 i love wolves and love to see when they're rescued from those horrible traps. That wolf must be very thankful!
@@jeremiahnations8808 lol no one knows this guy’s name, and the dude barely showed his face. I don’t think he gives a shit about people praising him for this
I've never seen a wolf but I did see two snow-white Coyotes on two different occasions several years apart. The first time was in O'Fallon, MO while paintballing in Egyptian wheat grass taller than our heads and the second was just a couple months back behind the Walmart in GC, IL. Great video!
Poor wolf. Give him sometime to realize he's just free. Maybe by staying a little longer is his way to say " thank you". Noble man, enjoy this magic moment as it will not be repeated. We all will be gone sometime. Enjoy every and all beings for their presence yet momentarily. 😊
The tug-o'-war got me. Wolf has zero grasp on anything that is happening or why, but it's gonna clamp down on this annoying object that somehow pulled it to the ground, because dangit, that was humiliating and it can't take a loss.
You can clearly immediately see the gratefulness in its eyes the moment that you removed the trap. He didn't want to let go of the rope immediately because I think he wants to thank you for the good deed.
Yeah but I don’t think they were trapping them. I think over time wolves learned humans had food and humans learned wolves watched the perimeter so they kept feeding them.
@@Heffey02 Yeah, you don't domesticate wild animals by trapping them by the foot with a pressure device. You lure the animals with food and show them you are trying to socialise with them
