I am new to mtb, but have heard many trails in Oregon are not rated properly. I would still pay the lift price at least once.

I mean black diamond can mean a lot of things. Rocky, steep, fast, big jumps etc. any or just one of the above would be fitting.

This “black diamond” looks like a green, maybe a soft blue… Timberline really needs to step their game up. Myself, and many others I know, are not going to pay $50 for a lift ticket to ride these trails.
