The Minnesota Timberwolves made a big announcement during their final home game of the season, revealing a new logo that will be rolled out in time for the 2017-18 season.
Mmm... this will be the Wolves' fourth uniform within a decade's time. Teams frequently change their main uniform designs when they are desperate to generate money and excitement for the franchise. The Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets is another good example of this.
So it's basically their secondary logo, except the wolf is different colors, no trees, and everything's faced the opposite way. Not gonna lie, it could've been better.
is this new logo a joke? this looks like that same wolf howling at the moon on all those cheesy t-shirts that you see at Walmart. the current logo is intimidating... you know how a wolf is supposed to be. the new logo is, well, uninspiring, and very feminine. so I guess it kind of fits in with today's society, so whatever. the word placement is also terrible.
