Keep in mind that when he said "Your show shpuld be cancelled very very very soon" that this video was uploaded in March 2015, before Season 3 ended and Super Why was actually cancelled, in May 2016.
It's really not. There's no tension in the battles, Tim Camaro has an unfair advantage, and in the intro, Tim Camaro is more unlikable than the Super Readers.
I actually liked Super Why when I was little. Plus what did you expect for "baby show" characters? Of course they don't have superpowers like Superman.
"I'm a preschool show superhero! I wanted heat vision, but the PBS Kids executives said that would be too violent for the little ones" -Super Why in one of my comics.
@Miguel Silva 807 Well, what happens is he belts out his catchphrase, "Super Why with the power to read", and the two other characters he's with laugh at him, and one of them says, "The power to read? What do you do, read the nutrition facts on ketchup bottles?", and this is his response.
Okay...I sort of sympathize with Tim's frustrations here, since they kept nagging him after he turned down their offer, but at the same time, he was rude to them from the start, which pushes the sympathy meter back several notches. Compare that to TC VS Caillou and TC VS Fred Figglehorn: Caillou came right out acting like a brat, therefore it's understandable that Tim would be ticked off from the start. Likewise, Fred woke Tim up, so of course he's going to be in a bad mood. Here, the Super Readers don't start off annoying. All they do is invite Tim to have an adventure with them. Furthermore, he's fully awake and hasn't been shown to be under stress or recovering for a bad day or anything, therefore he has no excuse to be rude from the start. When writing a character the audience is supposed to like and root for, you need to make the audience WANT to like and root for him...without relying on them hating Super Why with a passion. How to fix this: When the Super Readers first appear, rather than Tim snapping at them, have him politely turn them down, maybe invent some excuse, or just say he's not interested. This way, he shows a little human decency, as opposed to not even trying to hide how biased he is against them. Then as they keep begging and begging him to have an adventure with them, he grows increasingly more annoyed until he snaps. Maybe have him try to reason with them until he gives up, and thus, the battle begins. Doesn't that make him more sympathetic?
@@cookiezcartoons3587 True, but you still need to make sure your audience sides with the characters they're supposed to, without relying on them having a pre-conceived bias against the characters they're supposed to side against. If Tim is the character I'm supposed to root for, you've got to make him more sympathetic than the Super Readers. If he's not, then that's a clear sign of bad writing.
@@TylerTheRapBattleGuy11 Honestly, I find this series pretty bad even for something obviously made by a kid. It's not just laughably stupid or nonsensical. It has glaring issues that make it painful to watch.
2:24 "You are a jerk, you are a jerk, you are a jerk" Um, no, YOU'RE the jerk, Tim Camaro. (Note: This has nothing to do with what I think of Super Why. I just find the character of Tim Camaro to be highly unlikable).
I like how your fights are done, I know its an opinion, but, HEY, YOU CANT BEAT UP THE SUPER READERS LIKE THAT The guys meant a lot in my past and I'm just now realizing, I miss it, the drama, the comedy, the episodes being like College (the professor asks a question, stares blainly, and than answers his own question), but most of all, I miss Red, she was the coolest back than, in fact, when I caught a shiny Sigliph in Ultra Moon, I named it after her, "Red" For the last bit of this comment, I'm going to say I'm not trying to start an Internet argument, Tim and all you other haters can dislike the show all you want, but I'll still remember the show as heartwarming, besides, I do know only ONE Goanimatetuber who likes this show, Looplena (I saw them in the crowd of her Warren Cook Escapes New Zealand video), I just wanted to point all that out so you don't dislike this comment or call me a hater, I acshilly like Tim's fights with baby show characters
Question: What do you like about these videos? Personally, I don't see any redeeming value in them. The fights have no tension, no buildup, no climax. It's just BAM, you're dead, BAM, you're dead, BAM, you're dead, YAY, I WIN! Not to mention Tim Camaro is not a likable character. More often than not, the characters he fights don't do anything wrong; he just gets mad at them because he doesn't like whatever show they're from.
Now to think of it, you got a point, in this video, Tim beat up the super readers for EGSISTING, the only time this is acceptable to me, is when he decides to kill Tree Fo Tom
@@flufflepuff2320 He almost always beats up whatever characters he does just for existing. I'll give the Caillou episode some credit, since it actually gave him a legitimate reason to beat him up. Also, why is it acceptable for him to kill Tree Fu Tom just for existing, but not the Super Readers?
@@flufflepuff2320 So...it's not okay to kill a character you like just for existing, but it's okay if it's a character you hate? That's called a double standard, and it's not good to have.
Do Tim versus Super 4. Battles in order: Tim versus Alex (aka prince alexander.) Tim versus Ruby (aka Ruby red) Tim versus Twinkle Tim versus Gene And finally Tim versus alien
Honestly, I don’t like GoAnimate in any form, but seeing a jpeg image of a car probs from a google search crush a little girl who sounds like a fuckin machine whenever she cries is hilarious. Just needs a hint of SUSSY BAKA and AMONG US and it’ll be a 10/10 masterpiece game of da year ign Nintendo powar
@@flufflepuff2320 Let me tell you something: I have no problem with Tim making videos about him beating up characters from shows he hates. It's most likely an escapist fantasy, kind of like how kids imagine themselves as superheroes fighting villains based on school bullies, annoying siblings, cruel teachers, etc. However, I do not like how this is executed. The battle has no tension, for one. Tim takes out his opponents in just a few attacks, while they can barely put a dent in him, which makes the battle boring. Moreover, Tim isn't a good character. The Super Readers don't do anything that would understandably provoke him; his motivation is more or less, "I don't like the show these characters are from, therefore they don't deserve to exist". That's not a good motivation to give a character the audience is supposed to like and root for. Maybe if they, say, screwed up a book he was reading, I'd sympathize with him more.
