8 years?! Wow!! That’s amazing. Keep those videos coming- I’ve installed some aftermarket parts on my 2014 Club Mx5, based on your experience. Always have a good time watching you work on your Mx5- gets me working on mine. 😊
Nice car man! I’ve owned NA’s and NB’s but I’m looking to finally get into an NC2. How many miles are on yours? And how has maintenance/reliability over the years?
Chassis has 125ish thousand. Engine probably 50k. At the end of the day, theyre as reliable as any Ford or Mazda. It's a basic engine with basic parts!
wow 8 years i guess that it's a friend a this point :), i do understand why am from morocco and a friend bought an NC1 with soft top / hard top and it's a pleasure to drive but wen we got it it was in a super bad shape, it was crashed (Front Air bags deployed )and "stitched" to hide the crash ect... we didnt mind because of the price he got it for about 6500$, and after that wen i had to bring it to him cause he didnt have time to get the car from a different city, i went i and bought it and registred it in my name, the car was in a very bad state, leaky Shocks, rusty brakes , Bose Radio missing the CD player (it was removed from inside the headunit so it only had FM radio) mismatched Spark plugs, bad MAF, water in the cooling system..... Anyway even seen all that we couldnt miss it, am going to try to upload a video or pictures about the story of that Mx5.
Hey Jackson, I have an NC1 and am thinking of putting those seats in my Miata. Could I daily drive them? I dont want to use harnesses so also wondering if it works with the OEM seatbelt with no problems. I see you are running it but I'm not sure if they use the seatbelt mount for the seat. I'm still figuring out if it is worth losing my heated seats but you never need it here anyways. They aren't worn at all but I want to stick in my seat better when auto. I love your build btw, you got me into cars and I'm grateful for your content! You give me a lot of the confidence I needed to start modifying cars so thank you so much. I'm loving it.
@@ColoredinLight I haven't watched them all yet, but will. I really like Miatas and might get another one soon. I just thought it was a funny comment. I heard you say you put the two types of lights together, which I understand, but they actually were made for the car, weren't they? Just thought it was funny, not trying to be a smart ass.
The spoiler would be great on a 4 second race car, almost as great as it looks on a Miata**** there ya go, must have been autocorrected for you. Error averted
@@ColoredinLight it's a RWD car that can corner at higher speeds very easily and may not have the fastest engine but is lightweight and plenty of power to get up there. Spoilers are shown to be very effective at speeds of 60mph and, depending on what you are driving, you will start to notice a difference as soon as 40mph. Plenty of rally cars have them and rarely are taking corners at 60+ MPH. There are tons of debates and posts about this and almost all come to the conclusion that the spoilers are effective below speeds of 100mph and don't have to be on a 4 second car to make differences. There are also companies that show data with their spoilers on these cars to show if they are effective or not. There are plenty that are just for looks and have no actual effect on performance but there are also those that are shown to have decent performance on these as reported by users with their track times as well.
