Time For A New World | EVERYWHERE Official Reveal Trailer 2023 

Honestly, this seems nothing like how I had imagined it would turn out. I imagined a GTA style game with the freedom to reckless or civil in the game, with the emotional heft of a truly individual experience where you could go and live in the wild and build your own story, or join civilisation and live a normal life or a criminal life. And anything in between.

Whenever a game advertises itself as "you can do anything you want" then usually that means it's a big empty world that you can do nothing in.

"Build whatever you want as long as it's with our pre-existing assets and all your characters look like either Male Jonesy or Female Jonesy"

1:19 is the only thing I'm interested in from a former GTA producer. A Fortnite knock-off just won't cut it.

20% chance : it works and completely dominate the scene(let's hope for that). 80% chance : will be forgotten after a year of release(if we be realistic). Graphics are similar to fortnite but it doesn't matter as long as gameplay really is how they promise it to be.

The problem with being so secretive about a game is that people will imagine these overblown fantastic ideas of what they expect, and are let down when they see what it actually is. GABBO IS COMING!

Did anyone else expect something along the lines of a modern and civil GTAO inspired game? Instead we get this… I don’t know what this is.

I really want this to be good, not just another dreams, roblox, or fortnite creative. Im sure it will be less limited than those other titles, but I hope there is more to it. They need to support it and have lots of content to just play for people who dont want to create. Dont need another game full of meme obby's and 1000 versions of the backrooms...

From what i can see from this reveal, Everywhere will be a hub for people where you can greet,interact,befriend,team up,communicate etc. and it's art will be stylized in the format of what is shown in this trailer which is much similar to that of Valorant and Fortnite, now once inside this hub people using the resources provided by the hub's (Everywhere's) own libraries and tools, can start putting together their own projects and stories in the form of video-games whose one example is the MindsEye project we were teased on earlier this year. So once you launch it you go into that hub then there you can do the metaverse thingy and from there on go over to your space and start building, you can put together all of this in the form of an analogy relating to the Animus Scenario we see regularly in the age-old popular Assassin's Creed franchise from Ubisoft.

Leslie benzies should build own game engine like rockstar did. Should make open world games like GTA so that we don't have to wait 10 or 15 years for a game from rockstar and when rockstar is on a project we have another GTA game from Leslie benzies.

Everywhere and Mindseye are two different Types of Games

Everybody complaining about art-style needs to watch their trailer for Mindseye; It's an episodic game that will exist and be playable inside of Everywhere (yes, a game inside a game). I don't think Everywhere will be restricted to one art-style. Another good example would be to look at Frontlines, the Call of Duty clone made within Roblox. Roblox base game has a very specific and boring art-style, Frontlines is not that at all, and it plays completely different as well. This game might be endless in terms of art-style and what can be done, especially if it plans to go up against titles like Roblox and Dreams. I wouldn't be surprised if the template for Mindseye is made available publicly, allowing you to branch off and create anything you can think of with the same style of art, physics, gunplay, etc. Just look at templates made by Dreams creators, you can take another persons template and create a new game entirely. Dreams has everything from 2D top-down games, isometrics, side scrollers, FPS, puzzlers, hack and slash, etc. Now think about that integrated into an MMO that has potential to appeal to a much larger audience and draw in more passionate creators.

I see this being more of Fortnite’s competition than GTA 6

As excited and optimistic I can be for Everywhere, this trailer looked a bit too 'fortnighty' for my liking. Fingers crossed that it feels very different. 🤞

Yeah this might fall hard. At the end of the day, homies just want to sit down and chill, very few want to learn how to create and then do so. I was imagining more so of a simulation of sorts. And the fact that this is feels connected to the term of "meta game/meta world" and looks like Fornite, it's really not helping its case. Oh well. GTA VI right around the corner you know what I'm saying?

Where is "Mindseye " ?

I don't see why people would put down, Minecraft, GTA online, fortnite, Roblox etc to play this

Everyone here should look into the "Mindseye" game, it has realistic detailed graphics, and it's only available in the Everywhere game, both games here will have two art styles, and Everywhere will be free to play!

I have a feeling this is going to ship with a modest selection of subgames. I doubt they expect the players to build everything. It will have to have some appeal to get people using it, the community made subgames will come later if the project succeeds.

So: Benzies and the Team are recreating the OASIS?

What always put me off about Second Life was there didn't seem to be anything to DO, other than spend real world money to buy assets. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance, but I found it hard to get into. Maybe this will be more accessible.

I'm 100% sure this game will be a huge failure. There is a game called Fortnite which looks the same, feels the same and already has millions of players if the devs haven't heard about it. Also there is the new Unreal editor for Fortnite, so basically the same thing

Pelo que eu pude entender, é basicamente um jogo sobre fazer jogos. Algo que lembra Project Spark da Microsoft, Dreams da Sony, Roblox, etc. Porém, acrescentaram uma espécie de Lobby onde podemos interagir entre os players. A ideia de ser algo criado e movimentado pela comunidade é bem interessante, mas precisa ser bem trabalhado ou a falta de interesse vai destruir o jogo. Fico no aguardo por mais novidades.

I would be surprised if someone is really waiting for this game. I mean it would be awesome but I'm not sure if someone older than TA of Fortnite will play it in long-run. Still I can't blame creator from GTA to go his separate way and find something his had been dreaming about but.. Personally I'm a bit disappointed about this game I can't believe this game can make it possible to become popular😢

So, this is mechanically and aesthetically Fortnite's new creative mode, minus custom scripts and models. This is going nowhere pretty fast considering that Unreal Engine is free and creative mode exists.

This game is too ambitious to be true, even for a former mastercraft of best open world franchise in the world ( not meaning any disrespect) but if they managed to pull it off, i can see a really gamechanger and big shift toward the future of gaming. Until the global release i will always be skeptical, nothing but the best for BARB team.

Leslie Benzies is a genius he is a master in game design up there with Hideo Kojima I have high hopes and I think it will deliver it's not a rushed game it has been conceptualized and developed for quite a while not to mention ex Rockstar North employees are also at BARB Matthew Smith and Colin Entwistle I believe in Leslie and others should too
