Except that Infinite is very much alive, because it's fun to play, despite what the haters say. But it's best to let them believe the game is dead, so that only leaves the people who are here to have fun
The problem with Halo's version is that it's only half true. You can unlock it whenever, but some of the unlocks are time-sensitive. And usually it's the ones that they know the players are really after, and later on in the Battlepass. Found that out the hard way.
@@darkspark5854 At least the MP was a complete package at launch. Like why is it so hard for 343 to release a finished game… Halo 4 might have also had iffy art style for some armors, but honestly it had the 2nd best progression system, Reach was 1st(but let’s honest, the grind was way too much).
A masterpiece would entail that it actually had decent quality and quantity of content at launch. Infinite and 343 couldn't even manage that let alone handle the post launch support

I remember when this game launched thinking they would release another couple vehicles a month after launch and believing they had a solid plan laid out like any other studio would. I was so naive.
We’ve been absolutely abused by these triple A companies. We have been saying this same sentence for over a damn decade for so many games, we’re all insane.
I’ve just turned 24, I am now mature enough to come to terms with reality. The halo franchise is cooked. Over a decade of mismanagement and bad writing have done it in. We will never get back to the days where a fucking ad campaign had more emotion and impact then entire games, books, and movies that we’re getting today. In 2007 we Believed. In 2024, we say goodbye.
I don’t care what anyone says. Infinite’s campaign was the nail on the coffin. As bad as halo 5’s execution of its story was, it was salvageable. We knew what was happening and there was some level of continuity they felt natural. Then infinite went and threw it all away. Infinite’s story is a joke. After everything they put Cortana through they gave her a shitty offscreen death a replaced her with a pg cinnamon roll who they seem determined to just tune into Cortana 2.o rather then make her unique. The infinity got nerfed. The banished were just red covenant. THEY HAD ATRIOX AND THEY SIDELINED HIM. The endless were just an excuse to avoid the flood. I guarantee the writers don’t even know why they are yet. Locke? A helmet on a boss’s shoulder for decoration. Blue team? MIA. Arbiter? Not here. Doctor Halsey? Lasky? Plamer? Who knows? And people constantly try to give this campaign excuses for its slop. Where was that attitude with halo 5?? People will really take a campaign with no story over a campaign that wasn’t accurately advertised.
Halo 5 was the real end for me. It was clear that they were not interested in Bungie's design and wanted to further ruin Master Chief. It's like 99 percent of them had never played Halo or had any respect for the opportunity they had.
It’s a good game with a steady flow of players, but oh my gosh 90% of the people playing are people who play 24/7 and hit are super sweaty. It’s just not fun to play for casuals
I like playing Infinite, but what pisses me off more than the god awful launch by 343 is them basically abandoning the game after the game finally, FINALLY started to have some semblance of a resurgence after season 5. But then they ditched the seasons for these stupid ass operations and the gane is just a sceme to sell cosmetics while they work on the next game, which i really, really fucking hope is actually good.
Not really their fault when most of their team is gone, they're just kinda making do with what they have and they've been having budget issues since season 3.
It's like... the gameplay is good. But it feels like it's trying to steal more of my money every time I boot it up. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
@@mistrants2745 the gameplay is fun when it actually works. Networking issues, desync, multitude of bugs and other issues ruin even the tightest of gameplay. Paired with a lacklustre sandbox and handful of maps can't say that 343 did the gameplay much justice either especially when compared to older titles.
@@dhruvster10 most of that is what i would consider support. The core gameplay is the best Halo had ever felt to me. But then they just ruined it by not supporting it, not updating it, trying to suck more money out of the player and adding a bunch of stupid fortnite style stuff nobody wanted
@@mistrants2745 Networking, performance, optimization and general polish aren't just support; they are and should be the core pillars of any game from day 1. If those things aren't working then the gameplay can't be considered "good" cause those things directly affect gamplay. 343 couldn't even manage that but yes the egregious money leeching and destruction of any good faith of their players just added on to the insult.

My biggest take away from the first 2 minutes of the video is that I really really dislike the goofy cosmetics. You could do so many things SPARTAN armours, but choose to add a helmet with retro glasses.
The last time I tried to play Halo Infinite, it said my graphic drivers were too updated and I had to revert them for optimal play then crashed as I was browsing cosmetics.
I agree but who could be handed halo and do it justice? Is halo not just a dead franchise at this point? Especially with the abomination of a show we got?
And have them make the same mistakes as 343 did? Yeah 343 has done a lot of bad but qt least they've already learned and started learning. Frankly with the state of the game industry there's almost no studio you could properly hand it to cause they're either doomed to make the same mistakes or just suffer through development hell.

There is content, people just don't bother to actually pay attention to it. If you were to compare modern day infinite to launch it feels like a completely different game.

I just did my yearly check up and now I’m gone like the wind lol Seriously the low population in infinite just makes it sweaty and that’s ok but if I’m going to sweat I’ll just play H2 and H3 or Reach those are just far better games imo
As someone whos been playing infinite for almost a year now, and spends a lotta time grinding event passes, and one bps, i will say yeah after awhile it does kinda get stale. But I still enjoy playing it :)

Hopefully this game is the one which finally gets the 343 fanboys to realize that entrusting your favourite franchise to a studio that literally names itself after a backstabbing snake of a character is probably the worst decision MS has ever done.
I gave up early on in this game's MP cause console vs PC is not fun or fair at all. Extremely unbalanced and you can't turn off crossplay... So stupid.
I literally re-downloaded this game today after not playing for like a year and after watching this video I’m going to uninstall again without even booting it up😂

I love when people comment on halo infinite MP after playing like 2-3 matches in season 1 & call it dead and that 343 dropped the ball when in reality the game is getting better and better every single day I’ve never had any issues matching a lobby in under a minute there’s tons of events to earn free armor every 30+ days they brought back core halo 2 & halo 3 maps and game modes they brought back firefight they increased the spartan points rewarded after matches and from bounties they continue to balance weapons and engaged with player feed back they lowered overall prices in the shop, and to top it off they have made almost everything cross core for armors and they’ve made battle passes retroactive so even if you miss a season you can still purchase the battle pass whenever you want and grind it out. If you don’t like halo infinite that’s perfectly fine but it is successful it’s grown it’s getting better everyday and it is the best shape it’s been in since launch it’s not dead, and I wanna be peaceful but if you disagree with that your just ignorant. The only people that complain or talk shit are people who clearly don’t play the game.
Any game that retroactively adds something like Spartan points should give you the avg points for all the games you played before it was released. Cos if you played 2k games without the incentive of those points then you deserve the 150k you’d get for doing the EXACT same thing or arguably more since there’s a 100% chance of ppl now just login on to grind it. Like it takes a thousand games to get this helmet, oh you’ve played a thousand? No , no, no we meant starting from right now teehee, get to work 😉
It takes less than a thousand, the bp's and weekly challenges give you points by quite a lot too. I have like 40k in maybe 50 matches? But it would have been nice to get free haunted helmet :(
I hate that they butchered this game, was released unfinished, like no post content or support, nothing to unlock/customisation. My biggest issue was constantly being thrown in a game not even in my server and no way to just stay in my own server so every game was lagging, unplayable and definitely not fun and no point trying now as I know my server will be dead asf. So again I hate they butchered this game.
This game is hot ass. From it having no pregame lobbies to it having no assasinations. Map Variety only exists because of the community. Firefight is half baked mess. No accolades or long term achievements except for an armor set that takes a whole games life cycle to get. At some point you gotta tell yourself move on and that's what I did.
They really should have just had the balls to give the premium currency for free. Drip feed it out, pull people in. That’s better than no one playing your game. But the greed is too strong for common sense to break through.
What even happened in the story? Like what’s even going on? Last I played the chief was jamming grenades into the didect and Cortana somehow touched his armor.
I got the ghost helmet and did this season battle pass so prob done playing for now till more stuff comes. i really only squad and being in CA makes find matches ez as hell. Game is fun but the match making always being rank even in social shit is annoying. Tbh if let all chat being think i would play more just because i like trolling people.
I haven;t even finished the campaign tbh. I was big in the MP though,until I had to delete my old account and strat from scratch. now I can't be bothered to pick it up at all
Something that always bothered me about infinite was its map design. The random elevation changes, the constant twists and turns. I felt like I was spending more time in my matches just trying to find an enemy or getting shot in the back rather than actually playing.
