I've been playing the piano for 50+years and I know when I see the goods and this kid has the goods, he plays with passion, which is how you are supposed to play. Bravo young man!
Yeah, I love his intensity -- totally in control, totally "there", totally handling his instrument and his burn. One of the best performers I've seen in my 50+ years also!!
I think those people standing don't even listen anything... they are too busy with their mobile phone sending pictures or videos to their virtuals motherfuckers friends
As a pianist myself who once attempted creating a cover of this haunting score, I determined it just wasn’t possible to capture the full emotional ecstasy that a full orchestra can create. But alas, I was wildly incorrect 😂😂😂 This is incredible!!
well now that you mentioned a "entire" orchestra the moment he started playing i swear i could hear the violins etc but i thought those were bg instrumentals, but after re-watching i realised there was none of that :O.
As a fellow pianist (not nearly as good) I cannot even imagine how much practice this took. The crowd did not pass the vibe check, I would have been bowing at your feet! Lol incredible incredible incredible
@@mindfullymellow2323 Genetics don't matter... I've been playing piano since I was 5 and barely anyone in my family played even 1 instrument. It may be influenced but genetics only change look. Not personality. Thats all that astrology crap. You can be you. You can be someone completely different. He's only as good because he saw how good his family was and actually practiced. My dad get 40k a year - 50% from tax (so technically he only has 20k a year) and I get up to 65k a year. My mom/mum/mam gets only 8k a year. So technically that genetic stuff doesn't exist. And it's not talent. I wasn't born a succesful pianist. I was literally clueless about music. I mean I was 5 lmao but I kept practising and kept pushing on... to new heights. That's how people are this good at things. It's not talent. It's not genetics. It's about YOU. So if you're good at something e.g. coding, maths, literacy then keep doing it. But only if it's something you love doing. Just like Peter is doing here. I've looked at several articles about this so I know my stuff xd.
@@itzgrain9885 Perfectly said. Even studies showed that it's all about practice. They only difference I know is that it seems to make a big difference if you started playing the piano at a very early age - people say that this is important for the agility your hands and fingers can gain.
This is INSANE dude!! I would have never thought that it’s possible to make a Hans Zimmer piece sounding that good on a single piano. Incredible performance tho!
Peter your performance doesn't belong in the street. Every melody you play deserves to be in a grand theater applauded by music lovers, musician masters , and passionate artists.❤❤❤❤
Quizas el mundo ha cambiado, las personas ahora descubren en su vida estas melodias, en la calle como veras 5,6,12 millones de personas escuchando en directo o redes, mientras en un teatro o auditorio solo los privilejiados unos pocos lo disfrutaran.
Music of Hans Zimmer is one of the best things which I have met in the music. Perfect pianist. Small audience. Most of the people unfortunately don´t know what is good and wise. So the life is like it is.
At 68 i have added a new dream to my list , to see you play live . Please come to America. To hear Time live in person would be the thrill and honor of my life .
As a child I wanted to learn to play the piano but couldn’t afford it, so I killed that dream long ago. After listening to this masterpiece, I have decided to dream again, but this time learn to play the piano and hope one day, maybe, one day, I can be half as good as this guy. Thank you.
How is your piano journey going? The first couple years(especially as an adult) are incredibly tough. If you lose interest/motivation, just come back to this video and tell yourself you can play this well!
I would love an acoustic version of this with just the piano. *Hint hint* 🙄🤗 i downloaded the version you have on Apple Music but it doesn’t hit me as hard as this version does 😍
for some reason, i still find his first "time" version the best. it was removed from yt for some reason, and i would like to find it. Not sure what is different now, but the first cover had better flow for me...
It's not the piece itself, which is of course a masterpiece, is the way in which you play it, so smooth, so clear and so passionate that makes this fantastic! As an amateur pianist reaching your level would be heaven mate
I just love the way he is combining softness and strength, quietness and power, pause and action. I heard this piece before, but nothing impressed me more than his playing.
If you look at his bio online he studied classical piano from age 7-21. 14 years of study. His interpretations and additions to his song selections show a genius in what he hears and puts into the keys of the piano. Masterful!!
Finally someone who plays with feeling ✨️ I've just watched quite a few people play this & Interstellar and they just bash the keys, all of it was loud (forte)
I hope he also has public concerts and gets well paid as what exceptional talent and so gorgeous to look at shouldn’t be wasted on such a small audience 🙏😊❣️
I am convinced that this specific strain of an ‘opus’ came down to Zimmer from somewhere off-world. Something seems to shift in my heart/brain every time I hear this haunting melody being played.
@@pansaltman this masterpiece is not any more inferior to melodies that those above composers make. "Time" just move your soul and make you feel emotions that you didn't even know exist.
@@FinoAllaMorte In my opinion It is too early to say that, to compare any living composer to Bach or Mozart. However, if the Hans Zimmer's musicmakes you happy and moves you soul that is absolutely fine
@@pansaltman I just read original comment and get what you say. Haha. Yes, if we gonna talk about names which will go down in history those are untouchable ones. I was just referring to melody as melody. "Time" is shoulder to shoulder if not even more moving than masterpieces of those autors. But everyone is different.. and to each to their own :)
Went on a random youtube spiral and i landed on this ----- just wow - my heart - my soul - thank you for putting this out there it brings tears to my eyes....just beautiful ...A fan for life 💯❤
Me at first: ''Wow, this is wonderful.'' *Music gets deeper. Me: ''Oh sh*t, why the hell am I crying?'' Me at the end: *Having a deeper existential crisis, Still Crying, thinking about the sh*t I've done in my life and the people I've lost. Detail: I'm not the emotional type and this song broke me. *I'm really not ok right now. You made me REALLY CRY, it just shows how good you are, congratulations and keep going, it's wonderful.
I’ve been a pianist for 10 years and listening to this is so beautiful❤️ Seriously, breathtaking. This piece is so beautiful that I almost feel like shedding a tear. If I was there, I would’ve been in shock because wow. The audience there must not know the true art of music.
I'm so glad RU-vid brought you my way today! First Beethoven and now this... I'm so impressed. As a pianist myself, I only WISH I had your talent. YOURS is the kind of skill I've always wished I had. Bravo! And thank you for sharing with the world.
Unglaublich. Ich komme aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus. Was für ein Talent. Egal wie oft ich es höre, jedes Mal Gänsehaut und Tränen. Diese Version in Studio Qualität und ich bin der erste Käufer. Bravo Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This young man is an Angel of music. He belongs in a beautiful room with crystal walls, a marble floor and playing on a piano that echoes through out the skies for all to hear. Most gifted and blessed.
I've watched this 20 times. I could watch this all day. I remember what that felt like. The way his hands flow even when he's not playing. He's not tapping his foot, he's feeling it. The way his head jolts back, it's flowing through him like electricity. How his arms and shoulders become rigid when he enters forte. The things I felt before my abusive marriage. I think I might get back into it now.
Ja...er spielt wundervoll und hat es in sich🎆😍. In jeder Zelle und Nervenfaser. Ich wünsche dir, Kelsey, viiiel Kraft, Mut und Freude für dein kommendes TUN. Schicke dir Liebe💗🦋
Holy gawddd!! I'm jus an old street guy and this kid jus brought me to me knees!! And they give 40mill a yr for dunking a basketball. S.m.h. Thank you brother !!
