SYNOPSIS
A young man named Daniel is working at a department store to regain stability after a public failure. Ashamed of himself and estranged from his mother, he plans to spend Christmas alone for the first time. Through a surprising encounter on Christmas Eve with a customer who begs him for help at the last minute, he’s forced to confront his past and decide how he will heal.
PERSONAL NOTE
This is a dream project come true. A Jamaican Christmas short film, executed perfectly by an all-Jamaican cast and crew, for the world to see and connect with. The whole team came together to create this within a very short time frame, and gave it their all! We hope you all enjoy it!!

I endorse this short film because the theme of a mother's love for her child is so precious and forgiveness by a mother to her child is a given. I have noticed the many young men do not have a good relationship with their mothers. I love it. Congratulations Tariq.

I loved this short but intensely emotional film. You could feel the overwhelming sense of guilt from the young man, for he cared that he lost his mom's money in a venture he went into but failed. And the forgiveness she showed was heartwarming. Once again excellent script and acting.

This is beautiful!! It gave me teary eyed. This is a wonderful initiation to a lengthy movie. I'm sure he's going to explore the, "What next", which will be a wonderful outcome and conclusion. I am hungry for the other 1 hrs and 11 mins 😇. Tarik's short film had all the right elements, warmth, lighting, background music, passion, layers of emotions, and depth, and it stimulated laughter, excitement, anxiety, raw feelings of vulnerability and it left me wanting to see more. ✅First world. ✅First class. ✅State of the art. ✅Magnificent Excellence!

This short film is clean with well defined characters. It tugs at the heart! It is relatable as it is memorable. I feel elements of “The Prodigal Son” - how his mother met him almost at the gate, how she ignored the envelope, that hug she gave! This is top notch Tarik. Part 2 please.

The plot/script is beautiful, with so many varying expressions and emotions. I cried as well. Didn't know Tarik Alexander spoke patois 😁. I had to watch it again. Looking forward to many more such films from Tarik Alexander. Awesome indeed !!!!

Very powerful short film. It took me through a range of emotions.....identifying with "failure" and the shame that comes with it. In the end though Daniel's apprehension was over rided by his mother's forgiveness [1/9, 4:01 PM] Cecile: Sometimes in life the things we are most apprehensive about pales in comparison to the love and forgiveness of others

Hey man! When the mother and son hugged in that final scene... One bag of emotions came over me... Mi get goose bumps! That hug says everything is alright and will be alright. Again we all make mistakes, and sometimes we just need that hug, that assurance that it will be alright. We will beat up ourselves, but at the end of it all. We will be alright. I wish I could have the embrace of my mother one last time... The amount of unloading I would do on her shoulders, just through my tears. #wonderfulfilmBro #TimeHeals

Well, I saw this advertising on Instagram. The only reason I watched it was because of the quality. The quality was very good. The language was very good no fake English no pretentious patois. the storyline was good too and the acting was good. I wish this person all the best in film and production.

This was beautifully written. Boy I had a good cry. The cry where your nose starts to burn inside. I lost my mom during the Christmas season and I honestly don’t celebrate Christmas because of that as well as the commercial and capitalistic notion around the time. All in all. An awesome short clip. Well written. 🙌🏽

I pray that those who need it most will get a chance to see it and by extension it will bring healing to both broken and forgotten relationships where healing seemed impossible . This film “Time Heals” is an excellent production. The story, characters, acting, impact and originality are all excellent. Showcasing such a quality production with all Jamaican talents, all Jamaican cast and all Jamaican setting has demonstrated that good quality film suitable for family to watch can be produced here. The only difficulty I have is that this film is too short. It should be minimum, 30 minutes long.

So many persons can relate to at least one aspect of this film. I love the story line. Even though it was short, it captured a variety of emotions and messages which a 1hr movie sometimes isn’t as effective as this was. Continue to keep your audience on their toes for more as you excel in what you love my bro. Greater things are in store for you!
