Time Lapse Digging Out During Record Snow Storm Ottawa Canada
The Snow Storm on Tuesday February 16, 2016 dumped more snow on us than was expected and they were expecting a lot of snow. This snow storm dumped more snow on Ottawa in one day than any other recorded snow storm.
Filmed on a GoPro Hero 4 Black and a Nikon D750 camera and a Nikkor AF-S 24-70 f2.8 lens.

I remember clearing snow in Linden Terrace in 1973. I'd just finish and a snowplough would come along and dump about 5 feet of compacted snow and ice at the end of the drive. Happened every time.

Things I hate when shovelling: 1. When more snow keeps coming and going where I already finished. 2. When the snow plow make the solid snow wall at the foot of the driveway. 3. When children decided to jump on the freshly made mountain of snow, putting more snow on the driveway.

When I visited a friend in Fonthill, between Toronto and Niagara, there was a sudden downfall if thick snow like that. He got out a blower, rather like your neighbour, and that was just as effective. My friend took a warm bath for some time afterwards. I think his muscles rebelled a bit!

I remember doing this where i live. It doesn't look so hard but after 5-10 minutes of shoveling snow out my parking spot I was out of breath. It looks easy but it seems to take more energy than an actual workout video...🥶🤭🤭

I used Adobe After Effects to assemble the shots from my GoPro Hero 4 Black and my Nikon D750 and Adobe Premiere to edit this time lapse. I've never tried the GoPro software, have you?

oh wow canada is verry snowy here in algeria it didnt snow in 3 years but at jan 14 2017 oh man it got real everything was just covered in snow so 3 years of dryness and when it snows it fucks up everything
