This helps to document the installation process from the lowering of two underground fuel storage tanks to the completed installation of four fuel dispensers.
Process illustrated here:
1) Installation of the Underground Storage Tank and backfill to the top of the tank
2) Remove the shoring material from the perimeter of the area
3) Dig trenches from the submersible turbine pump sumps to fuel dispenser area
4) Install submersible turbine pumps in manway openings
5) Run product piping from sumps to dispenser areas
6) Run electrical conduits from submersible turbine pump manways back to building
7) Run electrical conduits from dispenser pans back to building
8) Product piping is pressure tested for leaks
9) When pressure test is successful, trenches and tanks are backfilled with crushed stone
10) Install wiring into the conduits
11) Install concrete pad
12) Set dispensers onto islands and connect to piping
13) Install probes and sensors into tanks, sumps and dispenser pans
14) Terminate wiring into relay boxes, panels and automatic tank gauge console
15) Deliver product into tanks
16) Energize the dispensers and submersible turbine pumps and purge air out of product lines
17) Pave around the perimeter of tank pads
18) Site is complete
