Our dedicated Flood Restoration team is working around the clock - literally it seems, going by the footage - to restore 3780 logged damages to the Tweed’s roads from the 2022 flood event, including fixing some big landslips.
After working through tendering, design, approval, and funding processes, the real action began - stabilising and reconstructing those roads!
There has been a lot of work occurring in the background by Council and contractors alike over the months since the devastating 2022 floods, including geotechnical investigations, designs, tendering, seeking planning approvals, and gaining approvals for disaster funding in trying market conditions.
