Time lapse Wolf Head Sculpture - Clay Demo 

Hello :) You have to vacate it because the clay shrinks when it's drying and when the inside is still wet the outer dryer parts build pressure and could shatter. Also when you fire it in a kiln and you've got sealed air pockets inside the clay, the whole thing can explode because hot air expands. And you can retrieve a lot of clay and use it again for something else. :) Thanks for the interest, I hope that helped :) Greetings Oh and for cutting, it's just easier to get to all the places ;)

Not sure about a tutorial, because I kinda just go with the flow ^^ But the nose and the support: when you see that it's sagging a bit. You know that it's not in the same position anymore Hope that helped :)
