I will make it known, RU-vid has screwed me, and my usual comment I post with links doesn’t want to post (I post it and it gets deleted almost immediately). Patreon and Discord links are in the description, so if you want to check out either, that’s the place to look. This is basically a direct redo of the original song, the one thing is that I didn’t want to do any rearrangement to it, since I love it as it is so much. Hope you enjoy the cover! :)
One of these days, a larger channel is gonna have to see you and shout you out. Seriously, it's maddening how many people don't know your stuff exists! Ah well, I'm sure someone like 8-bit Drummer might see your comments eventually
(sorry I only speak English) Not that long honestly. This song is actually very easy; it’s only four chords and the melodies are all broadly the same. The hardest part was probably the backing ostinato, since is the same thing for four minutes, but the melodies are all largely in the same place, and it’s only four chords
I take a fundamental issue with this statement. First of all, you need look no further than other VGM cover artists, most of which haven't done Geometry Dash music, to see that it's factually untrue that I'd "get more attention" from Geometry Dash music. The ACTIVE user base of Geometry Dash is estimated to be only around 10 to 20 million people. It's not even on any most played games by player count lists. Meanwhile, you have Minecraft, Tetris, GTA V, Mario, and Pokemon lining up at least once in the top twenty. Second, this is _my_ channel. I have had fundamental problems with Geometry Dash since 2018, and I refuse to associate my music with Geometry Dash unless I absolutely have to. I was a part of the community when Newgrounds v. GD was happening. I was in the community when the drama over Bloodlust was happening. I was smack-dab in the middle of a community I consider worse than Undertale's, even at Undertale's peak, and watched it tear itself to shreds. I only intend to do four more covers that are even remotely associated with Geometry Dash, and not once will I refer to the game by name, abbreviation, anything. I intend to recognize the musical genius of some of the musicians behind the songs, not the middleman who happened to make those songs popular, whether the artists are fine with that middleman or not. I do appreciate what you're trying to say and that you're trying to help my channel grow, but to first suggest I do more of something I actually don't have as much fun doing as you probably think I do, and then insinuate that Newgrounds music is more popular than music from games that more people have actually heard of and beat is both disingenuous and intensely offensive to me, whether you meant to do either or not. I've come to expect this out of the GD community, so it's nice to know that nothing has changed. I intend to keep this stance though. I have no intentions of changing anything in how I do my covers.
