I had my paper yesterday on the 23rd. Personally, I had never tried any of the reading tasks since I started learning for it.. I’ve been so scared because all the people I know who wrote it didn’t finish and had low bands.. so I decided to watch this and see if it’ll work for me… and it did. The reading ended up being the easiest and best part of the test. I usually wouldn’t comment on anything but I hope this helps someone who’s also looking forward to it.

I think I was able to apply these during my test, plus stayed calm throughout, and I got pretty decent band scores! I have a good level of English and I decided to take IELTS Academic without exploring first. I started watching your videos 2 weeks before the exam and I have the exam in 4 days. I was mostly struggling with Writing as most of the subjects are very irrelevant to what I do on a daily basis, and your videos have been a great help. I decided to do a mock test and got a 6.5 in Reading the first time. I thought I didn't know how to approach the questions and I watched this video. My advice is to read the questions and remember the key words in the questions and circle associated words in the passage.

I usually do a fast reading first then analyse each paragraph so that i can sort out the main idea for each then as a result , i find it very easy to determine in which paragraph is the information i am looking for so that i could gain to much time
