This is the stupidest comment that I have read all day. Banning Tik Tok isn't setting a precedence of American patriotism, requiring future companies to pass some anti-China litmus test. Tik Tok is literally owned by the Chinese Communist Party, putting it in the same grip of control as the People's Liberation Army. This matters because it is a data company, just filling their government with tons of American data. Very different situation than other Chinese companies, like the clothing giant Shein.
