I’m pretty sure it goes off the setting you have for that character. So you get to choose which characters are modern and Justin played modern zangief last.

i think it uses the controls you last used with that character, he messed around with modern gief, i bet if he also got ryu it would be modern too.

@@HerbanFarmer420 i just dont like the animation in mk1. There isnt much of a weight and momentum behind each punch & kicks. Whereas the movements in sf6 is just beautiful and unique. Also the new drive rush & drive impact in sf6 makes it more interesting and fun to watch.
