We have to go. The summer season is coming to an end and we need to get moving. We’ve had a great time in Sicily and seen some amazing things but it’s now time to sail to Malta. #sailinghelios2023
Hi, thanks for your comment and we’re glad you’re enjoying our channel. Jude here. To answer your questions: 1/ Yes. There’s a concrete mooring block (about a metre square) under the water about a couple of boat lengths from the dock. Usually there are pairs (a port and a starboard) but sometimes only one and you have to work out whether a line is for you or it belongs to the spot next to you. It’s a decent sized line from the block, and it’s tied to a smaller line as it gets closer to the dock. 2/ we don’t add anything to the water tanks but some do. We taste it first and it’s always been fine. We do hear others add weak chlorine based additives. Keep feedback coming 😊👍 Jude.
Question regarding the 410 if you don't mind please :) I am 6 foot 7 or 2 meters tall. Would you say the 410 would be comfortable for me? Regarding headroom, bedspace and seats? Cheers!
Hi, I think you might struggle with head room. In the main area of the boat ( galley/saloon/head) the head room is around 1.93 to 1.96m. In the main cabin it is 1.87. The main bed is 2x1.6m. I think seating would be better. Saloon seat height is 53cm/cockpit is 46cm. We are both around 5’101/2 and find the boat great for head room.
